Just like a used to get locally
I used to get this design hanger at the hardware store locally, but they are no longer available locally. These are the same design I used to get. They work great. Much easier to use than the nail and hook design that is so common today.

Great for holding alot of light items
I really like this type of hanger. It leaves one small hole, easy to install and they are strong. I am always having trouble finding the OOK brand in-stores and they only come in packs of 2. This was a great alternative. I really like quantity and variety I got with these. Definitely worth a try. There are two reasons for the 4 stars. First, these definitely feel slightly cheaper and less durable. I have not had one fail yet but I only use them on lighter items. Two, the protruding pin is far too long and requires some trimming. When you hang an object, the long pin causes the object to angle downward.

Great photo hangers
I had some frames from world market that had a metal trim I had to hang on a nail in order to put them on the wall. I was trying to figure out the best kind of nail or screw to use that wouldn’t show a lot. These were perfect. I also had a mirror that kept falling on the ground anytime someone bumped it. It was hung with a screw and it just didn’t hold it well. These nails answered that problem as well. These are great and I like that it came with a variety of sizes. I recommend these, they are good quality and sturdy and aesthetically appealing. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Can't beat these classical hangers - tried and true for decades
So many variations of hooks exist, they all work to some degree, some easier to install than others. But I find that they are often difficult to put two or more pictures side by side and on the same level. For me it's these for pictures up to 20 lbs. On 20lbs to 40 lbs I use drywall anchors with screws, on 40lbs. plus I use heavy duty drywall anchors that punch all the way through the open the drywall that open up wing-like brackets that open on the backside of the drywall, and for heavy pictures 50lbs. and more I use a cleat or in some rare occasions with piano hinge - I use the piano hinge to hide my wall safe.A tip if you use these hangers, use a level to line up the nail holes to where "nail" will punch into the wall. Put a piece of tape where the hole is going to go first this will prevent the wall from cracking and chipping, and when you pull them out to move or remove you won't be pulling wall out and peel the paint. Also, if your pictures are still not perfectly level, these hangers are easy to remedy and get those pictures level: you can gently push up slightly to raise the hanger or what I tend to do more frequently wrap some tape on the hanger until the pictures are level.

Excellent
Excellent. Smart design. Would even look good if not behind a frame 👍🏽

My preferred method for hanging pictures
I thought I was smart to use 3M Command Hooks for picture hanging. But this year, 6 years after decorating our house using those 3M Command Hooks, four of our pictures fell off the wall! We can't risk breaking our nice framed pictures, so we replaced all those 3M adhesive products with these nails w/discs. These are so simple to use and they leave only a tiny hole in the drywall when removed. The discs absorb the downward pressure and keep the nail from ripping through the drywall.
