Hi Justin, this is Michael from ShoppeWatch. Sorry for the late reply. The front and the back case of the watch provide a clean silver tone surface that is suitable for engraving. The diameter of the front and back case cover is 4.5 cms (1.75 inches). You have roughly 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm available for engraving. This will leave 0.5 cm on each side. Do you need any special equipment to wind this watch?

Simply wind the crown by holding it between the thumb and forefinger. Wind it until you feel a slight resistance, then stop. Special equipment is not required.
