I'm giving it 5 stars, it did the job, which is great, couldn't have done the job without it, but it did not make the job easier, it kept getting out of alignment and required trying to pry it open with a screwdriver.Oh and the lock is useless, hard to lock in place, and then hard to open, after writing this I'm tempted to give it four stars.

Worked a treat for the job required , however ratchet is a little flimsy could be better in the arm . But for the price not complaining as I said worked a treat for the required need .And cost was cheap enough .

Its honestly one of those bits of kit that when you buy it then use it you will think "why didnt i get one of these years ago".The ratchet part is sogood and holds the clip together and in place for years i used pliers or snips or cut them off then jubileed them.It literally works on and spring loaded clip on a vehicle and even on my washing machine pipes highly recommend you get one.Oh and snap on are selling theres for over £200 what a joke these are well made and solid they dont feel poor quality.

Felt sturdy at first glance. However the jaws of the pliers are too loose and very flimsily held by a river head. One side popped whilst compressing a clamp and flew off into infinity!!!
