Los compre para un kayak pero al final tuve que comprar otros más resistentes ya que no se me hicieron adecuados mi kayak es doble y pesa 40 kilos. Pero no los regrese porque siempre los utilicé para colgar unas sillas plegables

I used these bars to hang a full sized adult kayak (top yellow kayak in picture). The yellow kayak is at least 20 years old and it’s made well, thick plastic...heavy! I even have a heavy duty creekkooler inside of the kayak. The bars work as they should. They hold my boat...not much more to it. As long as you’re not aggressive with the them, slamming the boat on the rack or ripping the boat out of the rack, they should be fine. Yes they do have a little give to them in comparison to a more expensive rack that I used to hang the bottom kayak, but I also paid a lot more for the ones on the bottom. You get what you pay for. I’m happy with them.

I planned to use these for a couple fishing kayaks and they were going to be too small and too flimsy, even if they were the correct size. They're probably fine to hang some aluminum ladders on, but I wouldn't weight rate these too high.

If using for a kayak use a safety strap. I was afraid my kids would pull it down on themselves. Bars are easy to bend so be sure the weight is distributed evenly. Use better screws than provided

We installed this on the outside of our beach house. Instead of having paddles strewn all over the ground, they are now nicely kept together on this rack. Huge improvement and quick installation. We will see how they hold up being outside the elements in salty air...
