GAME CHANGER!!! My son is in first grade and can read like a pro, however, has struggled with a comprehension aspect of reading I need some extra help. I ordered this and we do a passage every night and his reading comprehension has improved. His teacher is even impressed. The stories are short and the questions are easy to understand and thorough and he halfway gone a bit grasp on the comprehension. If your little one needs some extra love and assistance in reading or the comprehension definitely write this book!!!

Simple, easy and entertaining passages. Lots of non-fiction about animals and kid life makes it very relatable. I'm using this with a child who just finished 1st grade but is struggling with word recognition and this effects her comprehensions. Using it to teach reading strategies.

My daughter is 5 and is working through this book. She does 2 lessons each work day. They are easy to read and comprehend. Each lesson contains 3 questions about the story she just read. •Great reading comprehension practice (for her age) •Great test taking practice. •Nice big story images (for coloring practice) •Several lessons

This is a perfect addition to introduce skills during the summer. The book is fun and easy to use.

I got this for my homeschooled 3 year old. He learned to read at 2, however I realized although hes able to read, write and spell, he struggles formatting his sentences, explaining or answering questions. Since getting this book I notice his sentences and communication skills have improved, even my mom who lives in another state noticed a change in his sentence format and vocabulary via phone. The stories are short enough to keep him engaged, informal and easy for him to read them by himself and to understand. The questions are also easy to answer. Only negative, I don't like multiple choice, wish the option were to write in the answers instead.

My son finished kindergarten last spring. He needed more reading practice and these were perfect!! His reading level was sight words and very little else. These were at his level an helped boost his reading confidence! The reading passages have about 5-6 sentences using basic words. (So, it seems more like a kindergarten level book, than first grade.) I'm happy I got this reading comprehension book because he was not ready for the longer passages in the Scholastic First grade reading comprehension workbooks. I highly recommend for kiddos who need reading practice, but are not ready for long reading passages.

I love love love this! My daughter is in first grade and I bought this to help her with her reading comprehension since she does AR Reading and quizzes (which she isn’t fond of). She likes this book because the passages are short and not overwhelming so she’ll do a few as warmup’s and it Also helps her reading skills and helps build her confidence. (Learning to read has been a brutal experience, but this book is great!)

I love this book and so does my son. He reads the short paragraph and answers the questions. Good for reading comprehension. He doesn't need me to read anything to him because its all on his level

it is just 42 pages. black and white. for that he charges 400 rs. it is too high.
