There are some things which have the potential to save lives and this vest is one of them. I got this for my husband to keep in the glove box compartment of his car so that in case of an emergency, he can don this before getting out of the car. We live in a rural areas where there are not many street lights and with winter approaching and the days getting shorter, I find this a worthy investment and it does gives me more peace of mind knowing that my husband will be more visible to other road users if he ever has to get out of the car to fix any issues.Note: The vest does not come with batteries for the LED lights. This ANSI Class 3 high visibility vest needs 2 AA batteries, the one button is at the bottom of the battery case. The vest is identical to the image - just not the last product image worn by a man. The item gave folded and I keep on folding it up after each shift because it fits well into my backpack. To flatten it out, I'd recommend placing a textbook over it for a few days.

I love this vest. Some of my riding buddies think I am silly for having the safety lights on at night. One night a motorcycle policeman thanked me for wearing the vest and asked where he could find one as well.

My young adult Daughter used this vest to ride her bike home late at night on side streets. A bit funny, as it is very bright, but it may be life saver! The lights option is a great feature! So happy to find this.
