Q: Is Dr. Berg’s newer electrolytes (lemon) dramatically less sweet than his others (orange, etc)? I’m in ketosis, plus don’t like sweets.

Just got this stuff and tried it. It is sickeningly sweet. Why? Why on earth does Dr. Berg make products that taste like candy when he preaches NO SUGAR in the diet? Anyone who has eliminated sugar is going to be far more sensitive to anything sweet. Just make it unsweetened and let us add our own sweetener (or not) to our OWN taste. So disappointing.

Q: Why are Dr. Berg's shipping costs so outrageous? $9.40 to ship this powder? it does not cost that much to ship a small container!

Shipping is expensive. A small flat rate box USPS is $8.50 and the container would not fit in that box. $9.50 is reasonable.

Q: Is the citric acid non gmo fruit based or is it black mold based?

Modern practices of making citric acid is using aspergillus niger (a mold)…look it up! Long gone are the days when manufacturers actually use citrus. Unless it actually says “derived from citrus” you should assume that it’s made from mold.
