What Is the minimum temperature for application? Can this be plied outdoors?

I have to state up front that I haven't applied this in temperatures less than about 80 degrees in my garage. Yet I am sure that there's a practical minimum, below which the adhesive will not grab or set up. I would guess that it's around 40 degrees F. Lower temps than 40 will also likely limit how flexible the film is also, which will make it harder to work with. I think you might want to be more concerned about maximum surface temperature if you are applying it outside. I would definitely avoid direct sun, especially on a dark (black, blue, green, dk gray, red etc.) colored car or truck. All of the demo videos that I watched were done inside a shop. I suppose that if you have the shade of big tree, that will work. But keep in mind, if you work under a tree, there is a constant "rain" of little bits of tree/bark/leaves/sap/dirt/ and who knows what else that will constantly be falling on your car. Even the smallest bit of spoot (unknown tiny bits of whatever) between the film and the car's surface will leave a noticeable bump/imperfection. My final note on temperature: If you can place your hand on the paint, and comfortably leave it there, then you should be able to apply the film without too much trouble. If leaving your hand on the paint makes your hand cold, you might want to wait for warmer conditions. Got a friend with a garage?
