I have bought these for all of my slim (9.5mm) external Blu-Ray writers (eg Pioneer BDR-XD07TUHD) to provide some bump and dust protection for when the drives are not in use. The case is well made, the drive is a comfortable fit with some free space around it so it is easy to get the drive in and out, especially if I put the USB cable in the front pocket.

Bought this specifically to protect my FiiO DM13 portable CD player, and it works well enough. The case is solid, with decent padding that should handle the odd knock or drop. The outside pocket is handy for keeping a cable or two separate. That said, it’s a tight squeeze getting the DM13 in and out. Not impossible, but you need to be careful not to catch the buttons or screen. Once it’s in though, everything feels secure. The zip runs smoothly and the overall build quality seems like it’ll last. Hard to shake the feeling I’ve paid over the odds for what’s essentially a padded pouch. Would have preferred slightly more room inside for easier access too. It does what I needed it to do and certainly beats chucking the player loose in a bag, but there’s probably better value out there if you shop around.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

A nicely made and padded case, with a pocket at the front to keep a cable in. Got this for my Apple Superdrive - inside is roomy enough to fit the drive, plus space to allow for the inbuilt cable without putting excesssive strain on it so all good.

I ordered this case the other day, but was a little disappointed to find that the one I received was marked as well as having a lop-sided front pocket. I sent it back and ordered another - Just received, and same again. If I'm buying new then I like to receive a perfect item - These have permanent surface blemishes and permanent folds in the fabric as they have clearly been crushed at some point. Overall, the case looks and feels quality, with a nice padded interior - Perfect for storing your drive and cables. I just wish that they would quality check the product....
