No brainer for controlling car audio.
Works perfectly for my car. Allows me to change volume, play/pause, and skip songs or go back to the previous song. All without looking at my phone, distraction free song listening.I attached the unit to my steering wheel and works great. The control scheme is what drove me towards this product, other products had multi-button schemes for audio playback. This product is simpler. The control scheme is very easy figure out. One click to play/pause, two clicks to skip, three clicks to rewind to the previous song/beginning of current song. Rotating the dial changes the volume. These simple controls are very easy to use, the face of the one button is large so you can easily find it while driving.Battery life is very good, lasting a couple months. Taking standard 2032 coin batteries, same as other electronics such as the AirTag.If you have an older car such as mine that doesn't have Bluetooth audio controls, this product is perfect.

Perfect controller, working right out of the box!
I was really surprised about quality and usability of this controller! It started working with the newly installed Mazda 2 "Android radio" head unit right out of the box - my wife really happy (that head unit lacks of the rotary volume control). Also, it came with extra battery and great manuals. It's a definitely perfect product, but I surprised for some negative feedbacks - have you really tried this product?!So, I definitely can recommend this controller to everyone - it's looks and works pretty solid!

Strap broke on first use!
Went to install on my handlebar of my e-bike and the strap broke! I did test it and love the features but the strap shouldn’t be so brittle. If you get this, be careful trying to install because the strap isn’t stretchy and will snap. Other reviews have mentioned the same but I didn’t listen, did I? Returning because this is obviously a design defect.

Works great, horrible strap!
I like the features and build quality in everything and it does what it's supposed to do although some people are misunderstanding what exactly it's for and thinking it has features that aren't even advertised. The strap however is horrible. There's only two holes for the straps to connect and one is too loose and one is way too tight on my regular steering wheel on my little Subaru Legacy. So in order to get it stable so it doesn't flop around I have to put it on the only tightest setting available and after 4 days it stretched so bad it just fell off my wheel and was all ripped out. They need to make the strap better with maybe even something metal if you think of a radiator hose style clamp with a screw on it, something like that would be perfect. That way you can adjust the tightness easily and lock it in without putting too much stretch on the rubber strap thus having it tear out on you 4 days in. unfortunately have to return mine. bummer because it really worked well and had a nice click feel and the volume knob worked great. But the strap design is a total fail

Works Great
Connects with phone easily and controls the bluetooth speakers in my UTV as intended. Attached it to the steering wheel. Time will tell if it stays there or not. A lot easier using this to control the music on my phone vs. using the phone itself.

Excellent Solution for Music Headphone Control
I purchased this device with a single use in mind: to control Spotify, which I listen to through Bluetooth earbuds while I ride my motorcycle. I use Plugfones brand earbuds, which function as earplugs as well as headphones, and this works very well, except for trying to change songs, pause the music, or control the volume. My gloves are not touchscreen compatible, and I prefer to keep my hands near the handlebars regardless. This device is a perfect solution! It connects automatically to your phone once turned on, and consists of a simple scroll wheel/single button interface. Turn the button clockwise to increase volume, counterclockwise to decrease it. Click it once to play/pause, twice to skip forward, and three times to skip backwards. I wouldn't waste my time with the other options here on Amazon; they're cheap, fall apart quickly, and don't work very well. Sure, you pay a little more for name brand, but the quality increase is well worth it, and it shows. One thing I would change on the device is the mounting design. The device band has only two settings for handlebar diameter, with the smaller diameter being far too small for a motorcycle handlebar, and the larger diameter being slightly too large. If you have tapered bars, this likely will not be a concern, but in my case, it was a bit frustrating. I ended up attaching it to my grip, as shown in the picture, and it works really well.JBL, if you're reading this, consider adding a few more adjustment options to the band, and it would pretty much be perfect.

Great for Cyclists
I ride with bone-conduction headphones so I can hear traffic and other riders, but adjusting the volume or skipping a track can be tricky. It's especially challenging if I'm wearing full gloves or if my headphone controls are covered by ear warmers on cold rides. This turned out to be a great little solution. It clips to my handlebars, and lets me pause or skip tracks and adjust the volume without taking my hand off the grips. So far I haven't had any issues with the strap breaking or tearing, but if it does in the future I'll update this review.

Well made. Works with Apple CarPlay
I purchased the remote for my car, as it has no steering wheel controls and I wanted to use a CarPlay screen (sits on the dash as opposed to replacing the head unit). The JBL click paired to my phone extremely easily, holds onto the steering wheel shockingly well and functions great. In essence it works like the multi-function button on headphones. Only thing of note, the volume control does not work when the phone is connected to carplay, you still have to do that on the radio itself.
