Arsvita Audio Cassette Head Cleaner, Tape Cleaning Kit for Home/Portable/Car Cassette Player

Bought to clean up and hopefully revive an old Sony Walkman. The product worked well and cleaned what it was suppose to. Would recommend if you have an old deck you're trying to clean up.

Favorite cassette seems to play better. Satisfied.

Worked well on my girlfriends 2002 Camry. The one thing I hate about this was the bottle. I guess the dropper is sealed? So when I went to squeeze it, the dropper popped out and I wasted half the liquid.

Do not over wet the cleaner or it will get caught up in the player , just like a regular cassette does . ( Curiosity can screw up the cleaner). Doesn't hurt to use the cleaner ounce a week depending on how often you listen to cassettes . Course I have a back-up cleaner . Doesn't hurt to have 2

used rubbing alcohol instead. tape cleaned up heads.

The review section has “exploding” highlighted. I laughed, took a screenshot, sent it to my friends, etc; what I did not do is read any reviews as to why it said that. I remember thinking about it as it happened.Exploding, indeed.It was my own folly.

I’ve used my car’s cassette player for years, no cleaning, nor any issues. I figured since it’s never been cleaned before, I should use a dedicated system that would clean and demagnetize the heads. So, I purchased a cheap product from Amazon, and tried it out deducing the overwhelmingly positive reviews were real. Needless to say, it turned my cassettes dark brown, and the sound quality is terrible. Subtle warble and loss of high frequency response is all I get now. Clearly, this cheap product fulfilled its purpose of being cheap garbage. Thereafter, I cleaned the head with a Q-tip and alcohol; the same issue was present. I cannot stress enough to do your own research and actually purchase something that A. Is valuable, and B. Lives up to that value. I’m not sure how this product got good reviews being that it completely destroyed my cassette player, but I guess anything is possible. Thank you so much for a cheap, destructive product that destroyed a perfectly functioning $300+ car stereo cassette player. I bet that won’t be accommodated for by this terrible company that makes cheap products that destroy quality systems as it only highlights their dedication to fooling the general public.
