Works great. Perfect size. I ended up buying one for my nephew since he’s doing electrical work. I like the green light letting me know it’s on and working. The flashlight is bright and convenient. Well worth the price. Packaged well and comes with instructions if needed. It’s easy to figure out without them. Very sturdy.

Got it to trouble shoot Christmas light strings. It works great on both incandescent and LED light strings. I will also use it on regular 110VAC circuits. I have had a high quality multimeter for years but this so much convenient and safer for detecting AC current when all you need to know is whether current is present or not.

Quick and easy to use. Saves you from getting shocked. Good quality and ok to be dropped short distances. Good amount of features, although I mainly just use it to verify outlet has been switched off. Good value for the money and does an accurate job of showing power or no power to the outlet.

I’m an electrician. that uses this a lot. It’s a great tool that gets the job done. And my critique on it is nitpicking. I dislike the fact that I have to sit there and hold the power on button for for five seconds… Which when you’re working on a ladder is aggravating. As I said, nitpicking! But this device uses up batteries quickly. And if you’re turning this thing on 5 to 6 times a day five days a week and allowing it to auto shut off the amount of batteries you use in a month goes up dramatically. Other than that, it is a much better vault tester than the old style that I started working with 20 years ago.

I got this NCV tester because I knew it would be a good idea to keep me safe and it did.
