zippers are difficult, not going to lie.....

These are advertised as side-zip. At 69, with much arthritis, I am unable to zip them even with the aid of a pair of pliers. I was able to get the zipper down once or twice, and the fit is v. good, but what a struggle to attempt to zip them. I have given up.....

Nice half chap but smaller than expected in the calf measurement, sadly. Order one inch larger than you measure.

I love that these come in sizes for both length and circumference, but I agree with other reviewers who say this runs narrow; definitely add at least an inch to your calf circumference measurement.I measured my calves at not quite 14 inches over some fairly loose jeans, and ordered the 14/15 thinking OF COURSE they would fit. The fact that I had measured over my floppy jeans meant there would be PLENTY of room, right? Wrong! When the 14/15 arrived, I could barely get them zipped over my naked calf, and then they felt way too tight. I have exchanged for the 15/15 and am happy with how those fit.
