Great combo. Still using it

It’s a nice looking rod and reel and appears to be well manufactured. I used it in the Atlantic Ocean today and I was able to cast and retrieve just fine. Unfortunately I didn’t catch anything to really test it. Overall one is getting a quality combo especially for the price and 5 year warranty. However, as mentioned by others the packaging should be improved. It was wrapped in a thin plastic sleeve and shipped in a huge!!! box so it could have and probably was knocked around a lot. It would be better in a more narrow box with bubble wrap to keep it secure. But, it all worked out.

First off I goofed up and I got the light model instead of the medium. My mistake but nonetheless I like to keep some extra rod/reel around just in case the kids have a friend over and I need an extra. The plan was to use this combo for largemouth bass fishing a private pond that has a lot of little Bass but also quite a few 8+ lbs bass . Today I hooked a giant on this lightweight combo. Contrary to what the specs on the side of this real says I was able to get away with about 150 ft of 20 lb braid. This thing casts like a dream. Very smooth I'm actually glad I went with the lightweight setup. You can really feel every little nibble with this rod. I purchased several of these combos and Quantum has outperformed them all. Great deal I did go back and get the medium combo and even a couple more of these lightweight rigs.

The media could not be loaded. This is a nice looking Rod and Reel combo and it looked sturdy and well put together however when I took the combo out of the box I discovered that looks can be deceiving. I detached the Reel so I could spin it to test it out before putting line on it and as you can tell from the short video when I went to spin it, it only spun backwards and forwards so far before getting stuck. So in my opinion this combo is not worth anyone spending their hard earned money on it's a total waste of money and lastly to the companies who make any kind of product these days and my advice to you guys would be to get a quality team together to test out your products before selling them to customers who work hard for their money.

Great combo and a great price thanks to seller/Amazon. Perfect Christmas gifts for 4 people and myself. Action is medium lite exactly what I wanted for soft plastic fishing and float and fly rigs. Reel is infinite anti reverse with no slop pulling back on the reel handle, for better hook sets. Can't wait for warmer weather and get to fishing. If I can remember I'll update once I do so.

Nice combo, but when they ship them, they don’t protect them whatsoever. I received two that were both broken because the box got bent and there was no padding. No protection of nothing. Two separate boxes two different sizes and both were snapped off. They were replaced, but I also received the next two with no padding and no protection whatsoever. Luckily, they arrived intact.
