Bought this for my 12 yr old grandson's birthday. He and his siblings and cousins all had a blast. Can be used indoors or outdoors but be aware the sounds can become annoying after a while. Worth it though to me as the kids had so much fun.

I have this to my 8 yr old nephew for a birthday gift. Havent really played with them yet but so far it looks very promising. All lights, sounds and etc work good.

I purchased two sets of these as well as two sets of another brand (Liberty) during the past "Prime Days", originally thinking they must be compatible as this is the same technology in both. well they are not compatible with the Liberty toys (see my review), These Kidpal toys are well made, I was surprised how well these are constructed, they feel nice and the sounds on these are awesome, the big difference with these: When you select different modes it actually speaks (English), telling you what color, mode (single shot, shotgun, machine gun and rocket launcher), counts down (3-2-1-GO) and says game over when all your lives are gone. The sound is clear. With the batteries in the weight was comfortable. There is no volume settings and they seem to not have much accuracy or distance.PROS: Nice Size, Nice weight, sound is clear, voice selection CONS: Loud, Accuracy/Distance is limited, my one star hit is for the on/off switch, it is very close to the trigger and is very loose, has been accidentally hit during play and is not very firm (its easily switched off) I am returning the other toys i purchased and getting another set of these!

These have been great for the entire family to play with. We added these to another set to double the fun. We had a 6-person game of tag, and everyone had a great time. They're not as high tech as the professional laser tag weapons, but you can use them anywhere. We used cardboard and cars for bunkers and they worked great. These are better than the weapons with the chest straps as the targets can't be hidden or covered and you don't have to worry about them restricting movement or falling off. The targets are in the pistols, so if the player is shooting, the target is exposed, making all play fair. The pistols light up in the dark, and look really cool. There are four types of shots and feedback in the pistols. The kids can play the whole length of the yard,as the pistols registered shots up to 60 feet apart. The battery power is maximized best by using high quality batteries, but they will still run on simple dollar store batteries if necessary. These make great gifts and are fun for a quick game just about anywhere that you can find room to run.

While these work, I'm a bit concerned that instead of the modes being "laser" weapon focused, the options - which are announced by voice with the push of a button - are "single shot" "shot gun "machine gun"... and instead of "reload laser" or something that would make more sense for children, it asks you to load "bullets". We are a nerf gun, etc playing family but having a toy audible direct my child to load machine gun bullets, when marketed as laser tag, isn't appropriate for the 3+ age rating on the box in my opinion.

This is the second day our 5 boys have used the laser guns. So far so good and they take less batteries than some of the other guns.

We got these for our kids to play laser tag at the lake. The kids absolutely love them. They are quite sensitive and accurate and keep track of your remaining lives right on the gun. There are audible cues and vibrations when you're "hit". Great reloading sounds and different weapon options like single shot, machine gun, etc. Got the kids outside and running around like they should be. Definitely recommend.
