This dry lavender flower has a really strong, floral flavor—definitely use it sparingly in your tea or it can easily take over. If you add too much, it can make you feel sleepy, which is perfect for winding down. Great quality and very fragrant.

Used these for little lavender sachets and they turned out beautiful. The fragrance is strong in the best way, fresh, not fake or perfume-y. The buds are clean and not full of stems or dust like some other brands. I also tried a small amount for tea and it tasted really nice. You get a good amount in the bag and it stays fragrant after opening. Would definitely buy again.

I bought the first bag of this lavender about a year ago, to make simple syrup for my tea (especially amazing with Earl Gray!) and it was delicious. When I ran out, I bought an organic option, which I generally try to do, especially for something I’m going to eat. The organic one is pictured in the top of the second photo. You can see how much more muted the color is, which I don’t really care about since I’m just steeping it, but the flavor of the organic wasn’t as good either, it almost tasted dusty, if that makes sense. So back to buy a second bag of the Lavande sur Terre and will stick with it in the future. Great value too, 5 oz package more than fills a large mason jar!

Used for sachets and baking. Has a more earthy scent than the lavender growing at our home. Still smells nice. Worked well for baking.

Excellent value! Smells wonderful. I used this to make sachets. I found 50 small organza bags for $3 on Amazon, and got the small bag of this lavender for $7. Great bargain, I was in a fancy lavender store and a single sachet like this cost $5! I'm making them for $0.20 each. The lavender is a beautiful deep purple color, and it was bagged really nicely. No scent at all from the outside of the bag (which makes me feel like it's keeping the flowers fresher) and when I opened it the scent just came pouring out. It's a zip-closure bag so hopefully it stays fresh. I got the smallest bag (5oz I think?) and there are at least 5 cups (by volume) of flowers. We made 6 sachets and barely put a dent in the bag. This is perfect for sachets, candles, etc.
