I purchased this JL fob on a whim... figured, I'd end up returning it.. WELL, no way will I be returning this terrific JL, fob cover.The case is very well made. Nothing chintzy about it. Fit and finish is top notch.Case installs over the JL fob in seconds.. Place cover over JL fob and fasten the provided screw with the provided a-wrench.Yes, there is a cut out in the fob so you can indeed see the word JEEP. Looks great! Real plus with this case is that the fob button you press to deploy the key, is recessed, so no unwanted key deployments anymore.Yes, the fob with the cover on it is a tad bit heavier now... Trade off, is the unique look of this terrific looking, very protective cover... and also the no unwanted key deployment, as I previously mentioned.In closing, well worth the $. DO purchase with the idea that you can return to Amazon.... you won't! 8-)

Attention to detail. They got every aspect right and didn't cover up the 'Jeep' on the actual key fob. Looks just like a gerry can. I bought this the day I got my Rubicon. It does limit my remote start capability but I'll live with it. I have the spare key without any protective covering. But that's my spare and I keep it in the house or with my old lady. This is the one I carry every day because it looks so cool. Never came apart. Nice and tight and protects my very expensive key fob. Heavy...so it rests well in my pocket.

It’s really well made, it’s heavy, and feels great in the hand. The key fob is already big as is and this makes it even bigger but it still sort of fits in the key holder in the Jeep. Very cool looking. Two minor complaint I have is it’s pricey, and the nut sticks out a bit on top. Good buy

Easy secure packaging. Comes with necessary tool but can assemble without also. Looks nice and matches my black/red Jeep well. Stops accidental key deployment. Adds noticeable weight and size but feels like it will protect the fob from accidental falls while also looking sharp. I really like this fob guard- the look, the quality, how it helps with finding my key. Be aware, this thing does in fact impact unlocking your doors from a distance. I have difficulty unlocking my Jeep parked in my driveway from inside my house and coming out of the grocery store, which previously I never did. Otherwise a decent product.

FOBS are so cheaply made now a days that I hope this protects it. So far I highly recommend this item!

Easy to put together. Looks cool. Adds some size to fob. This looks good in your pocket as to impress the ladies.

This product is a must have for any JL/JLU owner. Sturdy design and easy to install. I recommend using a wrench to tighten the nut for a snug fit. Adds a decent bit of weight to the key so keep that in mind. Very happy with the purchase so I got an extra for my spare

I am ol skool and do not have keyless entry so when I use the key this case helps the fob feel strong and not bend when I twist it in the key well. And the icing on tue cake is that it looks incredible.

The key fob is solid,makes a presence n really big!Very nicely fabricated,with simple assembly.Inclusive of an Allen key.Highly recommended!
