I love how this paint just glides on and dries without a bunch of brush strokes showing. The coverage is really great. I’d like to try other colors. This was in sell so I thought I’d try it out. It’s worth the money except that the color swatch looks like an antique white and it’s a bright white. Super white. That makes it so I can’t use it where I intended. Other than that I like it a lot.

What can I say? This chalk paint is a complete win! I have used different brands before, but this one is by far the best. Check out this 50 dollar thift store dresser. I cleaned and painted it in one (1) Sunday afternoon. I think I was watching Law and Order SVU to keep me company. In any case, it came out FABULOUS! I will definitely use this brand again. The first picture is the before, of course. I didn’t do anything except for wipe it clean with some Clorox and Baby Wipes. No sanding! Oh and I used a 8 dollar paint brush for the entire project. It’s a win!

Don't believe the hype of other reviews, this is absolutely no different than many other chalk paints. No, it doesn't magically blend evenly with no streaks, it's just as easily streaky as any other chalk paint. It often needs a second touch-up coat, like all others. But, it is twice the cost, which is absurd. They do have a really nice selection of colors, but I don't think that merits the ridiculously greedy profit margins they've applied to it. And again, it streaks, and it's not some magical satin finish. It's just another expensive chalk paint.

Very pretty color and good quality chalk paint but the price is not worth it

So here are some personal pros and cons to this product.Pros, the finish is a fantastic satin finish. This paint seems to smooth out the brush strokes on it own as it dries. So awesome! Almost an air brushed look without all the extra work! Probably the best chalk type paint that I've ever used before. I ordered the forest green and was not disappointed in the color. (Also, I've tried several different brands of chalk paint over the years; this by far has the competitors beat. Even over Dixie Belle if you can believe that!) So, I would 100% recommend this product.Now for the Cons,I feel this is a bit expensive for what it was and the quart I received was about 3/4 to an inch from a full can.It took 3 good coats to completely cover my walnut pieces, whereas other chalk paints are thicker and do the job in two coats. (Why 4 stars rating)However, once dried, the paint appeared to have a nice sheen to it as though I had already waxed it. So that was a pleasant surprise. The brush strokes seemed to dissappear like magic, totally didn't expect that!All in all, i'd say I'd definitely use this brand over any others in the future.P.s I haven't waxed anything yet, so will add pic and suggestions as to go with a wax, or a clear top coat in future.... stay tuned.

A few years back I got an 8 oz. container of Chalk Paint on Amazon from Soft Southern Strokes. I painted a dark wooden console, a planter, and a picture frame. This time I wanted to paint the legs and skirting of an old enamel-topped table. I got this "chalk" paint in a nice lively color, I shook the can, opened it, and set a timer for 2 minutes while I stirred it. It seemed thinner than the chalk paint I'd used a few years back. I did the 1st coat and was surprised the coverage wasn't better. I put the lid on the can and let the paint dry for 2 hours. I knew it needed a 2nd coat. I shook the can and when I opened it it seemed thicker. I again set my timer and stirred it for 2 minutes. The coverage seemed better, but not great. I let it dry overnight and again, shook and stirred the pain prior to applying it, and let it dry for 4 hours. At last, I got the coverage I had expected with the 1st coat and I have used at least a third of the can! I will be waxing and sealing the piece. I have some Chalk Paint coming from American Paint Company for an upright chest of drawers. Hopefully, it will not require as many coats of paint.

I extensively researched on just about every chalk paint there is. I was skeptical on this particular one because of what was expressed in some negative reviews. But I really wanted this exact green and no one else had anything close to it. It’s the exact color I wanted & it looks exactly how I imagined 🥰 You will definitely be doing at least 4 coats with this stuff, maybe even 5 with some touch ups. Overall I’m very pleased. Durability seems great - I banged this bed frame several times getting it from my basement to the second floor after painting it and it didn’t chip or scrape the paint 👌

Many years of using every chalk paint created… this paint is the best!!! I read the previous reviews and I’m honestly a little confused by their response to this paint. I have never used any chalk paint that went on with one coat. In fact some chalk paint takes many coats which always irritates me. I painted the Smoked Moss over white paint and it easily covered after the second coat. I then distressed the finish and it finished out exactly like I wanted. I normally do not do reviews but I am so impressed with this paint!

Great value for money fast delivery and easy to use. I painted floorboards and am very pleased with the result and colour. I only used 1 coat as I wanted a distressed look and am going to buy a big rug.

I have used many different brands of chalk paint but I feel this is by far the best u have tried. One can covered a large dresser with some paint to spare. Great finish
