Kieba Coccyx Seat Cushion, Cool Gel Memory Foam Large Orthopedic Tailbone Pillow for Sciatica, Back, and Tailbone Pain (Black)

This gel seat is a treat for an aching back. I use one in my car and one on our kitchen chair.

Just got this today and am sitting on it now. Very comfortable. Provides the perfect height addition and cushioning.

This cushion really is comfortable. Doesn't flatten out, no hard spots, absorbs shock when mower seat bottoms out and returns to original shape when finished using it. I suffer from chronic lower back pain and the tailbone really takes a beating when bounced and jostled. This cushion provides me a lot of relief, much less pain and discomfort. Has a taper toward the front edge to prevent the ledge effect on the back of the thighs. I can find no negative things to say about it. May buy a second one in the future for other seats. The only criticism i have is in the advertising pictures. Cutout is positioned to the front edge of the seat, (Wrong Position) and the models in no way look like they really need to use a cushion like this. I have no idea how long this cushion will last, but it does its job as advertised and is reasonably priced to make replacement economical.

I got this product as a gift for my mother for her birthday as she has several back problems and sitting for any period of time in an uncushioned seat causes her great pain and discomfort. I’m extrordinarily satisfied with this product. Immediately my mother found sitting in chair, like those in waiting rooms at doctors offices, much less painful and more comfortable. She can't however use it in the car, but that’s just because she’s tall rather than the cushion itself. I’d say that’s the only shame, if you’re over 5’9 and looking for a cushion specifically for the car something a inch or so thinner might work better. I also had an experience when receiving this product that I was first disappointed by, but soon found myself happier than ever by it. When I received my cushion it happened to have a faulty zipper. I contacted the seller honestly not really expecting much. I expected I’d probably have a hassle and the seller want the cushion or case returned first, or have to pay some amount for a replacement. To my surprise however, the seller was extrordinarilg kind! I explained my situation and they apologized profusely for what had happened, and without question or hesitation sent me a replacement cover that I recieved without delay in two days time. I’ve never had such great customer service from an online seller! And ever since I’ve had no issue with the cushion or the case. I’d DEFINETLY recomend this product both for its superior quality aswell as amazing customer support for anyone looking for a seat cushion!

I originally purchased the memory foam version sans cooling gel in 2017. I suffer from terrible back and neck pain due to both a car accident and bad spine genetics. I easily spent 50+ hours a week at my desk using this pillow for 7 years and only last week did it deflate to the point where I decided it was time for a new one. I originally purchased the ComfiLife Gel Enhanced Seat Cushion. It sucked so much compared to my former Kieba Coccyx Seat Cushion!!! So much so that I literally went to Amazon and purchased this new Kieba one within one hour of using that one. I sighed with relief when the Kieba Coccyx Seat Cushion with Cool Gel arrived and found it was just as good as the old one but EVEN BETTER because the cooling gel actually makes it not get too hot after hours of sitting. 100000/10 would recommend, I look forward to the future years with my Kieba cushion!!! :)

This seat cushion was okay. I purchased two to be used on our summer trip as we were going to be in the car for 4-5 hours travelling to our destination. I was almost five months pregnant at the time and wanted something soft and cushioned for my bottom, and also something that would help alleviate back pain from sitting for long periods of time. This cushion was contoured, a little firmer than I expected, and had a hole in the back which felt odd at first, but I got used to it. My preteen son and I each used one on the trip, he's still using his in the car while I am not, because it gives him added height (as the cushion is quite thick and holds its shape well). The gel did not seem to make a big difference, it didn't feel like it did anything to cool my bottom down, but it would have been wonderful if it did as we live in a very warm area. On our return trip home, I opted not to use the seat cushion and my bottom felt okay without it. I may try out the seat cushion on a chair that isn't cushioned and contoured, I think it will make a difference in that case. So, I have kept the seat so that I may try it in other situations. Also, I think my mother-in-law would enjoy using it when she visits as she often borrows my sofa pillows to sit on. =D

Ok I realized I never reviewed this product, but I purchased it in 2016 and its still as good as the day I got it. I use it everyday in my computer chair and I'm disabled and sedentary. It's just firm enough to give you support without going flat and very comfortable. I find it very difficult to sit for long periods in a chair without it. I weigh about 200 lbs so 8 years and still going strong is a big thumbs up for me!
