Great quality, definitely non stick and very versatile. About 3 inches deep so you can fit a lot into it.I really like this pan so I ordered the 8 piece set. Such good value. Fit well on the hob and so easy to clean.

First one I bought was too large for my needs so returned it and get this one.This is really a good beep pan - non-stick, reasonably light, comes with a glass lid.After a few cooking the bottom of the pan got some marks on (nothing stuck or burnt but some marks) - but other than that, it cleans very easily & works well with my induction cooker. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

This is a great lidded pan. I went for the 24cm version which I found to be a little bigger than expected as it's quite a deep pan. You can get plenty in it.It is of excellent construction, very non stick and very easy to clean. Arrived well packaged and was straight out of the box, a wash in soapy water, and onto the hob for a tasty chickpea and chorizo stew. I found the heat distribution impressive. Even on a low heat the stew bubbled away evenly across the surface. I was unsure about the pouring lips to either side as I expected too much steam to escape with the lid on (which has a small vent hole) and for the stew to reduce too quickly, but I was pleased to see that this was not the case.A very versatile pan which looks like it will last the test of time. We'll see. There are many much more expensive pans out there, but I am pleased I chose this one.

This is the second Carote pan I've bought and the first, bought last year, is still as good as new. This one has been used less so its durability can't be confirmed yet, hence 4 stars. The pan is large, deep and has a lid, making it good for stir-frying or conventional frying, or for risotto, ragus, curries etc. Big enough for a family and no problems so far with the coating. This seems to be a reliable brand at a good price.

Good depth to stop oil splashing out during pan frying. Stays non stick so far after several months use. Add the right size bamboo steam baskets and you have a useful steamer too! Good value for money. Note: not oven proof!

Had it a while now and nothing sticks it's literally amazing. Heat the pan with a drop of oil turn the heat down and cook away , the heat distribution is amazing and ease of cleaning .... well nothing sticks so you can just give it a quick wipe round and it's good to re use.

I bought this on a warehouse special. I knew it was going to be big, but I didn't realise it would be this big. So I would advise customers to carefully check the dimensions before purchase. It is in fact A bit too large for the purpose I bought it for, but I won't rate down for my mistake, and at the price I paid for it, I can use it for other things. I bought this for toasted cheese sandwiches. They are my sons favourite food and I wanted to be able to make them without soaking them in butter. This actually does make lovely sandwiches. The finish means they turn easily and don't need much butter to avoid sticking.We have also made eggs, sausage and bacon. The first batch of bacon was made with no oil. It didn't stick, but the bacon didn't taste the same without a tiny drop of oil. Next we made sausage, which had more than enough fat. I wiped most of the fat out with kitchen roll before making the eggs, as I do not like greasy eggs. Again, they came out perfectly . You can cook nearly anything without oil with this type of surface, but You will find some foods just don't get the same texture or taste the same without a drop of some sort of fat. My only issue is that this is bit large for every day use. So I bought a smaller groan for eggs and sandwiches and will use this only for cooking large amounts of food, or something like soup or pot roast. The heat was very even , the bottom of the pan completely flat, and the handles look and feel very nice. After cooking, it's just a matter of filling the pan with water and setting back on the ring. By the time dinner is finished, the water will have heated up and you can just wipe the pan out quickly , rinse and dry. You can use a tiny drop of washing up liquid if needed. It is not recommended to use a dishwasher as this can damage the non stick coating. And of course you are not meant to use metal utensils.The handles on this pan look like wood, but they are a type of plastic. Whether wood or plastic though, neither goes on the oven. In addition to be Far better than traditional non stick pans for low or no oil cooking, these pans also avoid the nasty smell that comes from Teflon type coatings. I am.extremely sensitive to chemical smells, so this is very important to me.In addition, we own a parrot. It is not in the kitchen, but even so , the times from Teflon coated cookware can kill birds in small amounts. And if it is that dangerous for a bird, I would prefer not t have my children exposed to it .There is no consensus on the safety of granite cookware with birds. However , because it is free of the chemical that causes the poisoning, polytetrafluoroethylene, it should be safe. Most of the sources I have found say as long the cookware has no PFOA or PTFE it is considered safe.It should be noted though that even oil can emit some fumes that are not healthy for birds and it's best to remove parrots from the kitchen when cooking and there are some reports that say fumes from other forms of cookware can be dangerous if severely overheated. At any rate, I certainly feel it much safer than traditional non stick coatings for birds, and probably for humans and other pets as well.

This pan is just perfect for me. I'm the only vegan in my house, so I cook meals for myself only and it's just the right size to make a meal of 1-3 servings. I believe that I'd ordered the 12-inch size years ago but it was too large and heavy to comfortably use and hold. It's nice-looking and I've used it about every day for 3 years and it's still going strong. I keep it clean and use some pot guards to make sure it doesn't rub up against other pans in the cabinet. It cooks my veggies quickly and evenly. Thank you for this.

I ordered this for my daughter in her new apartment. She had super old Teflon pans that were scratched and flaking and have forever chemicals attached to cooking pans like that. I ordered her a few of these pans and they are Amazing. They are non stick and easy to clean but more importantly they provide a healthier product to cook your food in. We both loved this particular brand and decided to replace the rest of the pots and pans with these Specific CAROTE Pots and Pan sets. Then lastly they are so authentic to look and and go beautifully in any kitchen and I love I can get all this in one product and they don't cost an arm and leg like. This is now our go too product for Cookware.

I waited to write a review, want to try it out over a period of time to give a honest opinion. This is a great pot with a nice design. I only need to turn to medium heat or between low and medium, the pot heats quickly. Like all non stick pans, one should not use high heat and should add oil to cold pan instead of heating a dry pan. My pan still look new after regular use for over a month. How you take care of it makes a big difference

I bought the 10-inch, deep frying pan and use it so often that I just keep it on my stove. As a single person who likes to cook, I find it the perfect size for one or two portions of pasta, ramen, or small batches of soup or stew. It heats well so you can saute meat and vegs and then add other ingredients for a one pot meal. If you want to reheat food on the stovetop instead of in a microwave, this pan is good for that too. The added benefit is that it is tough to burn anything in it as long as there is a little liquid. It's also super easy to clean and unlike some other kinds of non-stick, it can go in the dishwasher, even on the bottom rack. Altogether, a terrific, affordable, lightweight pan!
