If you look for solution of upright riding, go no further. This adjustable stem is among the most effective. I put it on my trek fx7.2, it raises the stem a bit higher than the original position(Which means you need an extra spacer!), and then with the angle fully adjusted to near 90 degrees, your handle bar will be significantly higher and closer. So your riding will be upright and comfortable. If you prefer leanIng forward position, simply lower the angle to zero. It is constructed rock solid, will be extremely stable.Only draw back: when I fit it on my bike, it is several mm higher than the original stem leaving a gap between the existing spacer and the new stem, I had to add in a new spacer to fill the gap. I like the fact that is is higher then original, but caution if you don’t have extra spacers on hand, you may need to buy few before you can install this stem.

The media could not be loaded. Worth the money, it make riding a better experience. I do have more than one .Good quality, very easier to install.Make fomore space on my ebikes.I will purchase more of these handle bar extension!!!!!

The stem is quite heavy. Also, installation takes a while, lots of bolts and parts to manipulate. After the unit has been installed and adjusted properly, it works well for me.

This product works great for me! I used to be an avid bicyclist, but starting about a decade ago, I was riding less and less. The reason was the way my bike fit me; I had a lot of weight on my hands, which transferred to my wrists, elbows, and shoulders. It was no problem when I was 40 years old, but by 60 the pain and numbness this position caused me pretty-well ruined what used to be a fun hobby that kept me in good physical condition.With this product, I have my bike back, and I still LOVE bicycling! I resisted this change for years, because I thought that stem extenders were silly, made bikes handle poorly (too little weight on the front wheel), and would slow me down due to the wind resistance caused by a more upright riding position. Well, guess what? I actually go faster in the more upright position! Why? Because I'm not in pain anymore!I'd say, if arthritis, injury, or just plain aging is keeping you off your bike, try an adjustable stem. Who cares what the purists think if you hare having fun again? So worth it, and definitely recommended!

I needed to adjust the position and height of my handle bars. this worked great. It is a bit of a process to adjust it but no bad. and definitely worth it for the wide range of positions you can achieve.

This worked great on my Raleigh mountain bike. No more back pain from bending down to reach the handle bars.

This is an excellent product / if you can get it to work. I sent the first one back after I couldn’t adjust it and after I sent a query to the seller that was never answered. The second one I received had the same issue. It would not rotate no matter what I did. I then read all the reviews and found that others had the same issue. When the two pieces are painted during manufacture the surface that is supposed to adjust gets paint around the edge and when it is put together it jams and obviously there is no quality control. I took the bolt out, scrapped off the paint, put PTEF Teflon on it and it now works. You should not have to do that. It is sturdy, light and has a plastic stop to keep the adjustment in place - which no other,similar seems to have.
