I was hit by a truck 25 years ago.
I was hit by a truck when I was 17 years old. Among other injuries my right knee cap (patella) was crushed. I have only had 2/3 of knee cap and it reminds me everyday. I was on crutches for most of the 11th grade. I have been living with this pain for the last 25 years. Some days are worse then others, and those who are close to me know i don’t complain about the pain, but if I am then the pain is really bad. Every day, all day I have some sort of pain, lounging around makes it worse and a lot of times I have grab my leg and straighten it out because I can’t move my leg.I am telling you all this story so you know that the pain I have isn’t just “I’m getting old pain” although i am getting old and the pain is getting worse as I get older, I started looking for relief.First, I HATE pills and I refuse to take them and if i can I’ll avoid them. Maybe once a year the pains just so bad that I have to take something. I started looking into things that might help. I’ve done some research on the Copper Fit brace the technology makes sense but I was still skeptical but I got it and been wearing it for about 2 weeks now. I wore it the first day and My knee didn’t bother me, but I wasn’t ready to say it works. Wasn’t sure if it didn’t hurt or if something else hurt more and I just didn’t notice it. Like I said this is an everyday thing so it’s nothing for it to hurt and it’s just another normal part of my life. Over the a week or two I tried wearing it off and on to test it. I’m here to tell you that the days I wore it I didn’t have pain and the days I didn’t I had pain. Then yesterday happened and that was the deal sealer, nobody can deny when it gets cold joints start hurting. I wore the brace all day yesterday, when this cold front moved in I felt pain in hands and my left knee (which was injured when I was 14). There was absolutely NO PAIN in my right knee and I am completely sold on this product. If you are in pain and you are a skeptic like me, I’m telling you it’s worth trying it out. Yesterday was a big deal, having pain everyday of my life for almost half of my life, then to not have pain was amazing to me.I have to say it’s the best $15 I’ve ever spent.Only problem I had with it was getting it to stay in place. I am a guy who has a lot of hair and it seemed to fall down repeatedly. Because I am dedicated to finding relief and it wasn’t fair to just throw it to the side because it won’t stay in place, I shaved my leg where the brace will sit. Problem solved and it stays in place and I am SO GLAD I did that and gave this product a fighting chance. 😂 kids make fun of me for shaving my leg, and even more because I only shaved where the brace lays. Yes it looks funny especially because I have a lot of hair so it stands out like a sore thumb, but I’m not in pain so laugh all you want 😂.

quite surprised!
Brett Favre knew what he was endorsing. I've gone thru so many different knee compression and support sleeves to try and remedy my knee pain when doing a lot of physical activity. And honestly, i was shocked by how well these work. I waited a bit before putting a review until i tried them for an extended period of time, and ill just say.. they work great. When I first got them i was super skeptical, cuz honestly they seems flimsy and are a super thin material. but they hold up in my washer, and i just hang dry them. The only thing i will say negative is that they do stretch a bit, so they cant really be worn multiple days in a row without washing. they seem to go back to normal once washed. definitely worth the price.

My review
OK I was skeptical about this product. I've read reviews good and bad. So listen to a doctor. Yes I am a doctor. People who were saying it cut off the circulation had one that was probably too small for them. I sprained my medial collateral ligament. I had one of my orthopedic colleagues take a look at it in that's what he diagnosed. So this morning I could not flex my knee except may be 100°. I went to Academy and pick one up and after wearing it for about two hours, I was able to flex my knee to the point where I could touch my gluteus with my heel. I'm not saying that it relieved all of my pain, still some mild discomfort but my range of motion has increased to pretty much normal and I have not taking any NSAIDs today. You can take this review for what's it's worth. I gave this product four out of five stars because I don't think any product is ever perfect. I hope it works for you if you. For me I am sold. Until next time, Dr. John. Anesthesiologist in Dallas Texas.

Decent for the price
Have been using it for about 2 weeks now . Good product - comfortable to wear . Gives a right mix of support and flexibility. However over last two days I see it slip a little so looks like it is getting a little loose. So durability may be an issue .

Knee surgery
I had both knees replaced and recovered quickly. During the second week I had tight knees that were still in recovery and at night had aches. This is a non weight fabric. It was perfect compression and something that can be worn 24 hours. Worth buying.

Not a good product
First the good part: This brace is well constructed and the kinesio bands do provide some good support. Now the bad: It is a straight sleeve and does not accommodate for the knee bending, so it gets bunched up behind your knee. Plus the seam is rather stiff and runs down the back so it gets crunched up in there, too. Not comfortable at all. Then, the measurement guide is off. Whatever size you think you are based on how they tell you to measure your leg, add about 2 inches and then you'll be closer to the proper size range. Based on their guide I bought a medium and it barely fit. I probably would have been better with a large, and I am a thin person - 5'9" 145#. Last, the product packaging says if it's too loose or too tight you should "adjust it up or down a few inches." If you do this the kinesio bands are not even close to being in the proper position for the intended support and could actually aggravate your knee issue(s).. Overall I am very disappointed. In reality if the product doesn't function the way it is supposed to then it is of no value. I will be returning this. Found a great ACE adjustable knee brace for less than $20 and it is waaaay better.

These really work
I have minor knee pain and I want it to keep it that way as well as be able to continue to work out. I do sqwats and lunges and my knees were beginning to ache. I got these cooper knew sleeves based on recommendations and the reviews I read. I wore them for the first time a week ago and worked out and my knees felt perfect, no pain or aches and left them on after I worked out. My knees felt fine. I decided to take them off about 2 hours later and my knees bothered me a little and I put them back on - the aches went away!!! So I'm a believer and love them now. They work, they keep my knee joint & muscles compressed and warm. PERFECT!!
