If appearance of a 3D printed part is what you are after, then this filament with a Polysher unit works pretty darn well.
This filament alone is good, but add a Polysher to make it great. It prints very much like PLA. I have printed several prints on an Ultimaker 3. It adheres well to a heated glass plate, but I l use a thin layer of glue stick to make parts a little easier to remove. I have printed with a .4mm and a .25mm nozzle and it flowed well through both. It’s not quite as strong as PLA. But Polymaker’s PolyMax is direction to go if you need strength. The material does absorb moisture so you need to keep it in a dry bag.The thing that makes this filament great is when you put the finished part in a PolySher Polisher also made by Polymaker. The lines created by the printing layers essentially melt together and disappear. The 3D printed look goes away and it looks more like an injection molded part. You do loose a little of the fine details.

Clearly used
Got my filament, box had been taped up using packing tape, there was a mailing label that was clearly ripped off the box, opened it and the bag was opened, filament was brittle, no silica packet either…

Customer Service is A+!
In placing my order for the Polymer PolySmooth I accidentally ordered 2.85 mm when I thought I requested 1.75 mm. Reaching out to Polymaker, they IMMEDIATELY responded and within a few days I had the 1.75 mm PolySmooth in my hands! WOW!!! One of the fastest (and kindest) responses I have ever received - and I have been an Amazon.com user for a very long time. Thank you PolyMaker! I haven't tried the PolySmooth yet (will dry the filament and test then respond again on this review). I have, however, used PolyWood and PolyFlex. Both are excellent products and worked great for me. Please see my reviews on those products under PolyWood and PolyMaker Sample Box. My printer is a Raise3D E2 and the PolyMaker filaments work great with Raise3D open filament program settings.

Hold off on the grey, the white works better.
The grey does not have a consist flow when coming out of the nozzle. I have a ultimaker 2+ extended and I've tried everything. The word is that this filament is very sensitive to moisture which would explain why the prints do not produce smooth layers. I've also tried taking the filament directly out of the box and printing and I get the same inconsistent results. When printing a layer it will stop extruding for a microsecond which produces a gap in the layer.

Great Printing and smoother than expected even without post processing
Worked perfectly on the first print with a Lulzbot 6. Smoother printing lines (there are some lines of course) than expected even with printing speed at 80 mm/s. Have not done post processing yet but I'm very pleased with it. Will definitely be ordering again in multiple colors.

Poor quality especially for expensive filament
No OEM settings except general PLA. Will not buy again. Oh well, live and learn.........

Seriously what happened?
Dirty unsealed box, torn open bag, extremely brittle filament. I'm not sure why this was in such bad shape but it was pretty frustrating.

Three Stars
Would assume it is good, but I missed the size I had ordered and had to return it.
