Dalí (Basic Art)

This collection of art books is AMAZING and very reasonably priced.

This book was a gift for my wife. She loves the artwork Salvador Dali. This book even had artwork from Dali that I have never seen before either. It was a nice book with artwork and a bit of history behind them too. It is nice book and a good read too.

A very nice biography of Dali and a tasteful selection of his works. Highly recommend!

The book does a great job of showing the overall progression of Dali's works through his life, tying them to the people who influenced him. The text is excellent. The plates (images) are nice and large but are limited in two ways. (1) The colors are a bit muted and lack some of the brilliance of the original art, but this is expected in a low cost book, and (2) The largest works are in the crease to cover two pages, instead of being in a fold out sheet like they should be. The low cost makes up a bit for the shortcomings. Even though I bought this for the images, I ended up appreciating the text more than the images.

The media could not be loaded. Love the size and quality of the book! I ordered more of this collection, can’t wait to have them all beautifully placed in my entertainment center!
