This adapter is based on Prolific PL2303 chip, rather than FTDI
Product is incorrectly described, it uses Prolific PL2303 chip, not FTDI as advertised. Beware PL2303 does not currently work with Big Sur, current version of MacOS. Still works with Catalina.
