Does not work at all!!
I really wanted to love this thing, but unfortunately, I don’t. It just doesn’t work at all.I live in South Florida, where we are known for our mosquito population. I purchased this because I was building a pool in my back yard and needed something to help control the mosquitoes. This product had excellent reviews, and it looked like a perfect fit. When my pool was completed, I put it in my back yard, hooked it up, put the Octenol cartridge in as per the instructions, and proceeded to get bit by every mosquito in the area. I’ve moved it to different locations in my yard, I’ve swapped out the Octenal, I’ve given it time, and I’ve been extremely patient. Every evening I tell myself that this is the night when I’m not going to get bit the whole time I’m outside. This device has done nothing at all to curb the mosquito population. I get about a dozen mosquitoes in the catch tray a week, and that’s on a good week. I’ve been patiently waiting for this thing to work, and nothing. And now it’s too late to get a refund. I’m stuck with a single purpose machine that isn’t doing the only thing it’s supposed to do.I guess this works if you live in an area that only has a few mosquitoes. A dozen dead mosquitoes out of maybe 20 is a pretty good number. Unfortunately, I have too many mosquitoes to count, and killing a dozen isn’t even a drop in the bucket.

It works !
I've had this for about two weeks now and it absolutely works. I live in South Florida and mosquitoes are so bad it keeps us off our back porch for most of the year. The trap is catching 90% mosquitoes with some a few other random bugs in there. The attractant from what i read is designed more for bugs up north but it seems to be working well for the mosquitoes here in south florida. I am able to sit on the porch now in the morning and evening's which used to be impossible without getting tore up by bugs. I bought some spare propane tanks and attractant so i should be good to go for the next 6 months or so. I should have bought this thing years ago.

It works if you set it up properly...
I have owned the MT-125 for two seasons at a very buggy lakehouse. It took a couple of placements to find the best spot, but when I did the basket was packed full of mosquitos. After that, it was more like a maintenance. We regained the use of our yard. I can't say there were no mosquitos but it was cut back 90%. Here is what you have to do to get the best results. 1) Have the propane bottle bled of any air when you get it filled. 2) Read the placement instructions and experiment around for best location. 3) Use the scented lures. Those make a big difference. Try different ones to catch a variety of insects. 4) Keep and extra propane bottle ready to change when the one on the unit is depleted.I like the MT-125 because of its simplicity. What I don't like about it is that it uses propane 24/7. The MT-275 is programmable but I don't like the reviews. More features means more things that can break.

Lasted 1 Month
We were excited about the potential to reduce mosquitoes in our yard. The device was easy to set up and appeared to be reducing mosquitoes. We ran it for 3 to 4 weeks before it needed another propane tank. We put on a fresh tank, it ran for a day, and then the red light kept flashing. We did some trouble shooting, such as cleaning the unit, restarting it, and putting on a different propane tank. Nothing. We are now waiting for customer support.

Doesn’t work!
We had a massive mosquito outbreak after the spring runoff. Seriously black clouds of mosquitos. We put this out in an area filled with the Nasty buggers and caught maybe 10 a day. Super bummed!!!!

It’s a miracle machine, totally impressed
Had this trap out maybe 4-6 days and what a difference it made, the mosquitoes were so bad that I couldn’t go outside at all and tried to keep my dog inside and after a few days what a difference it made, I live in the woods in south Louisiana where there are perfect breeding places for them to grow and now I don’t have a problem!!!! Thinking about buying another one just like the first

Works great!
You know how well this really works when you have run out of propane!!I used to get bites every day when entering the garden, both morning, afternoon and evening. This thing worked like a charm, it took about 5 days to really notice a difference but it works. after 8 months using this I can safely say without a doubt that it is a great machine for mosquito control. We ran out of propane and the only reason I knew this was because I started to see mosquitos again, got bitten again and low and behold the tank was empty. It is quiet, clean and easy to use with no odors whatsoever, I highly recommend this product. yes it costs a little less than other similar products out there, I think it is still expensive but a good investment. I have since bought another one and will purchase two more for another property.

Killed moths when we needed it to capture mosquitoes!
We had great hopes for this machine but, it failed miserably. It's been a horrible year for mosquitoes that have left us quarantined inside for the whole summer. Anytime outdoors for even a few minutes results in a half dozen itchy bites. This unit was moved around our yard a few times trying to get it to capture any....after a few weeks their were a few moths and a mayfly. NO mosquitoes at all. We used the attractant and propane tank was full. Not sure why some have success and some not, but for $329 we are not keeping it!
