Tough durable balls
Wasn't convinced they would be durable-how wrong I was. French bulldog rips every ball apart but these have stood the test of time. They have a good bounce too. They are indestructible and have been consistently chewed and bounced for weeks yet look as good as new. Have spent so much money on cheaper balls than only last a few hours. These are worth every penny.

YES YES YES using the last 2 now today 17 months after purchase !
Well, it's finally happened.I held off writing this review just to see how long these tennis type balls could stand up to my two Border Collies. It's pretty amazing but for the first time in their 71/2 years I've found a ball that's as tough as they are.We all know how obsessed collies are with playing catch. My two also play hide and seek.Often, they both bring the ball back together. It's quite funny to see but they can both get their mouths around the same ball. These balls are played with EVERY DAY for long periods.Below I've attached photos of the balls. They do eventually break into two halves but the covering keeps on going. These balls really are pretty indestructible.I have a Collie who is blind in one eye and seems to be able to see the colour blue far easier than any other hence the colour choice. They were given one ball each as soon as the balls arrived. After 8 weeks I still have 10 balls in the sack net.So yes, they will certainly see out this year and maybe next.Would I recommend these tennis balls YES YES YES

Brilliant balls ........ according to my dog
Our lovely little Sprocker Ringo is ball mad. If balls became extinct, he would die. These balls are great quality and fairly long lasting, unless our other dog Ozzy gets his teeth into them!I have had several bags of these now and will continue to buy this brand. I was only made aware recently of the damage normal tennis balls can do to dogs teeth. Hopefully using these will be better for his gnashers!Chose the orange ones as they are definitely easier to find if he has a rare malfunction and runs in the opposite way to where we've launched it!

Quality
Delivery was very prompt, however disappointed with the quality of the ball. My cocker spaniel has managed to destroy a ball within 24 hours so now on ball 2 of 12

Perfect for the Small Chuck-It Ball Thrower
Perfect fit for the Chuck-It small ball thrower. Much more durable than the small orange chuck-it tennis balls as well - these do not split on impact with the ground. Really impressed and much more cost effective too. Oh and doggo loves them just as much and she's very picky about her balls haha

Dangerous....
Below is a copy of my complaint followed by the sellers response. I know I have been fobbed off after reading other peoples bad reviews. My dog was not left with this as a chew toy. He destroyed them in minutes. My vet agrees they are dangerous. No offer of a refund either. Read on......Further to your request for feedback on the big dogs balls. I am really disappointed all three were destroyed within minutes between splitting and the yellow coating peeling off not to mention the smell of glue. Given the name you automatically expect these to suit "big dogs" but they dont. The product name and description is missleading. The glue has set off an alergic reaction in my dog and he has a full blown rash which the vet can only put down to the glue in the balls as the rash appeared within 2 hours of having these balls and nothing else in his food or environment have changed. I am furious that he has suffered like this. It has cost me £84 in vets bills.Sellers response.....I'm glad you got in touch although I'm sorry to hear that your dog has been unwell. I hope he is now better. I can certainly relate to how upsetting it is to see your dog who is a loved member of the family taking ill under circumstances that might have been avoided. I have attempted to address your concerns below. Firstly I wanted to reassure you that we did not release The Dog's Balls recklessly. The Dog’s Balls have been produced using manufacturing processes that would be appropriate for an item that would be in a dog's mouth, (taking into account the impact on the dog's teeth and gums among other things) resulting in a robust, non-toxic ball. They are the result of extensive testing which has taken place under two conditions: We first had the quality of The Dog’s Balls verified by two independent companies specialising in inspection, testing, certification and verification. One of those is a company with a lengthy track record established in 1878, and which is based in Geneva. They were were tested in the category which measures the presence of toxins “in components of toy that can be placed in the mouth or childcare article”. We then carried out extensive in-use tests from which we gathered data to ensure that in real-life situations these balls would be fit for purpose. We tested balls with spheres of different thicknesses and different sizes for different breeds before settling on the specifications we have now. The vast majority of our customers worldwide - in hundreds of thousands of balls produced - have not have any problem introducing these balls to their dogs and so I am disappointed with your experience. In fact it would be more accurate to say that in many years of production we have never had a report of another allergic reaction or a dog becoming ill after playing with these balls. Regarding the glue, I’d like to apologize if the smell of the balls caused you alarm. Though its not normal for the balls to smell and they are entirely non-toxic as I have previously mentioned. The chemical smell comes from the rubber itself and is strong because both the ball sphere and the glue are made of natural rubber. However, this is not a result of chemical off-gassing and it’s possible the balls were boxed too soon after production. Thank you for letting us know and we will forward your feedback to our factory for their attention and action. If your vet suspects that the glue triggered your dog's allergic reaction then it is possible that your dog has a rubber allergy (since the sphere and the glue are made of rubber) which is rare but not unheard of in dogs. Your vet might find it helpful to know that the glue we use is made of rubber. He may then be able to offer you additional information on how to manage this in the future. Going by the information in your email, it sounds like your dog had the ball for a long enough time to use it as a chew toy since he has managed to pull the felt off. The Dog's Balls are not chew toys and were designed for retrieval games. Using tennis balls as chew toys is a choking hazard for dogs as the sphere splits into shards and can be accidentally swallowed. Vets recommend that tennis balls be used in supervised play and the dog should be encouraged to fetch, return and immediately release the ball. Tennis balls should always be put out of reach after a game of fetch, and no dog should ever be allowed to use them as a chew toy. The warnings on our retail card are consistent with this advice from animal health care professionals. As long as your dog is never allowed to play with the balls by himself and are used for retrieval games, the balls are safe to use and should last a long time. Once again I apologise for the unfortunate and distressing experience you have had and thank you for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns. Regards, Faye

Durable and Tuff
These tennis balls are super fantastic. My dog loves to play catch and carries the ball around in his mouth. He's also a chewer but these seem to have met his match. Tried another well known brand and was totally disgusted. Never made it through the day. The rubber inside was so hard and brittle that it broke into pieces after several bounces. Let me correct this last statement by saying they hardly bounced. Was a waste of money. Will be purchasing more of these.
