Great product!
I'm absolutely delighted with my Brilliant Smart Home Control system. Installation was a breeze, and the setup process was incredibly user-friendly. I have multiple units installed throughout my home, and integrating them with Alexa for home automation was seamless. The convenience of controlling lights, thermostats, and even doorbells from a single panel—or via voice command—is a game-changer.But what really sets this product apart for me is the intercom feature. It's incredibly useful for communicating between rooms without having to raise your voice or use a phone. The audio is clear, and the touch interface is intuitive. However, the speaker can not play music. That would be a nice upgrade for a future version. Overall, Brilliant Smart Home Control has significantly enhanced my home automation experience, making daily tasks more efficient and convenient. I highly recommend it!

5 Years Later and they still missed the boat...Too pricey for consumer, no API for prosumer...
I was so excited about Brilliant, buying some of the very first switches when they launched 5 years ago... I'd been burned by other smart home switches, Wink hubs, and more high tech gadgets going out of business. At first their integration with Hue and others was a bit mis-guided in how switches controlled them, but they finally fixed a bit of that...But, crazily 5 years later, it's still a locked down walled garden system that is mind-boggling for the price point of these devices. They are beautiful pieces of hardware and have all the kinds of sensors you can imagine, touchscreens, motion, cameras, sliders, etc...But their insistence on refusing to release an open API or SDK for anyone to integrate with them in pro or Smart Home installations using proper DIY hubs like Hubitat, ISY, and others, is leaving them out of the very market you would think they are going for - true smart homes and smart home integrators. I've begged several smart home installation companies to use Brilliant in a few homes and their ecosystems and they say the same thing - it can't integrate with any API or SDK, yet it's priced like it should.Instead, you can only talk to the integrations they chose (SmartThings, HUE, and some others). Strangely they don't talk to Lutron, so you have to use SmartThings. So, in short, to use half of their features, you're still stuck with a hundred more hubs. They haven't updated the look or feel of their app in 5 years. And now with Amazon about to launch Echo hub, where is this going to leave Brilliant? In the dust. Anyway dropping this kind of cash per switch needs a device with an API and SDK so Hubitat and other hubs can take advantage of the switches and vice versa.Sad to say on home remodel will be ripping out 22 Brilliant switches. YES, 22... had them everywhere... but can't deal with no API any longer, time to go with touchpads.Catch up to the year 2024 Brilliant!

Finally found the right solution!
I've been looking for a 4-gang Alexa controlled switch for a long time. For whatever reason, a lot of the products available either don't fit a 4-gang opening or are very limited in features. This one is perfect for both! Installation was a breeze and the same as wiring a regular light switch. I was lucky and Brilliant added the live camera view for Android shortly after my purchase (I was hesitant to buy without this, but trusted it was coming soon). This is the only Brilliant switch I have so it's a little overkill for one room, but I'm planning to add more switches and use this as the main hub when not using Alexa. I'm really impressed with the product and looking forward to adding more!

System not stable and support inexistant
I have set up my whole home with Brilliant set up, including switches and screens. We tried to have it working with third parties like Ring or Nest Schlage, but it doesn't work 50% of the times. Also note that the switches get regularly buggy and are a huge pain to reconfigure, without any response at all from their support. My guess is that they simply can't afford to have support because they would be flooded. So my recommendation would be to go somewhere else if you want to avoid troubles.

Solid Smart Switch
I purchased several of these for my home. It's a solid smart switch. It's attractive, works well, and has fairly customizable software. I like that you can upload your own images (pets, family, art) to the screen. I use it to control my lighting, Sonos sound system, and even video chat with people in different parts of the house. My guests compliment me on the switches regularly. It's reasonably intuitive to use, although it can take a while to get it set up. Wiring up the 4 gang units can take sometime, but then, I don't see how they could make it any faster. The units are expensive but when you compare it to Legrand Adorne or other luxury smart switches they seem fairly comparable and contain more features. One thing I'd really like to see are higher quality faceplates. The plastic they use is very cheap and shiny. Higher quality plastic, textures, more colors, or even metal would really take these to the next level. Last, I wish they'd remove the Brilliant logo from the cover. I don't need advertisements in my house - it's tacky.

Love Brilliant
Bought a new house and wanted something to control my lights, Sonos system, and act as an intercom between the kitchen and upstairs bedroom. Alexa built in is an added bonus. I replaced 7 switches with a 4 way Brilliant panel. Had to combine some of the lights but it gave me dimming capability. The installation was only problematic due to the amount of wiring, so I found a spacer on Amazon made for depth limited installs like mine. The control in the Theater was super easy and completed in under 30 minutes. I love these things.
