Dont knock it until you try it!!!
Ok...was skeptical at first. I have had numerous speaker set ups from JL audio to Rockford fosgate...so I wasn't expecting to much from this set up being that is entry level subs and amp...well i was completely wrong. These sound great. No distortion if tuned correctly. Amp has plenty of power to push these subs...i am truly please with my purchase. The kit was nice as well. Only took me from start to finish about one hour to install and hide all the wires. Again it sounds great and fits perfect in my Camaro.

Unparalleled system (for the price)
I've have a decent amount of experience installing car audio systems for myself and friends, and I wanted something to put in my Jeep Grand Cherokee to add bass but not blow out the neighbor's windows. I was thrilled to be getting a brand name system like Rockford Fosgate at this price. The subwoofers and enclosure are awesome. Clean, crisp bass that has plenty of punch but doesn't shake your car to pieces. The amplifier is great. It has more than enough power for these subs; you definitely don't want to turn it all the way up. This thing could power much bigger subs easily. The Boss logo lights up blue as well which is really sweet. The only reason this package wasn't perfect was the included wiring kit. An amp like this should run 4 gauge wire (not 8), and these wires and the included connectors were sub-par quality. For example, the ground wire has nice, thick insulation but the wire within is so thin that it snapped when I was stripping the wire. I used this set but will likely upgrade the wiring if there are any problems. All in all, if you're on a budget you can't lose with this setup. The subs and amp are well worth the price, and the wiring will make do. You'll be hard pressed to get a better deal.

Pros: Subs&Box | Cons: Wiring&Amp
Read For A Full Review: You are getting what you pay for, but there were a few issues I noticed with the purchase. First off, the wiring definitely is not as big as advertised so I got some legitimate 8 gauge which happened to be thicker then the wire provided. Secondly, the problem of the amp overheating as some people have reviewed is not only because of the thin wiring, I had it setup correctly and still had this issue multiple times. During the winter it isnt as bad, but during the summer I could be driving with music playing for about 20 minutes and then the subs would cut off because the amp had overheated. On the upside, the subs work great and definitely pound, very happy with the subs. As for the box, it looks clean and professional, good work. I would rate this product a 3.5 stars if I could, but not 4 due to the simple inconvieninces. If you are looking for a cheaper system and wont mind having the subs cut out randomly when te amp overheats, then this is great for you!

For the price.... cannot be beat!
Was on the fence with the boss amp... for 230$ I think this is the best imaginable deal anywhere... especially considering you have everything you need to connect to a factory or aftermarket stereo.. I did however buy a 7$ legacy line out converter to be able to use the low inputs.. an absolute must. The low inputs are 100× better than the high.. quality and volume wise.. I have run some odd combo.. but this seems to be paired nearly perfectly.. plus the Rockfords just look really nice.. the box isn't a huge space consumer and it's finished with a nice quality look to it.. 100% satisfied! Update... bought a way better actual 8 guage kit and the sound output multiplied by at least 2 or 3.. my assumption is this can only mean the kit you get with it is not only not efficient but possibly dangerous.. but.. I got the 8 guage kit at Walmart for 30$ so I'm still floored.. with the sound I would say the subs in the tuned Rockford enclosure are worth the 230$ even without the supposed 1500 watt amp that barely touches an actual 300w.. hope this helped... love these 10s though

Beware of the wiring kit you choose!
Speakers sound great so far! Amp is garbage. Dollar store components from Boss. Only giving you 260 max wattage when they rate it as a 1500w. Wiring kit is sub par. You can always depend on Rockford to give you quality products they stand behind. For the base consumer model, they hit well. Nice little set of 10's. Loaded enclosure making these a single channel. I have a Rockford 500w single channel amp on the way! Although I opted not to use Amazon again for this purchase. I woulda felt pretty dumb for saying thanks for the junk. I guess have more of my money please!Update: Wiring kit that came with it was so crappy, the ground got so hot, that it melted all if the wires in my back end. $150 later in junkyard parts, and a crap-ton of soldering later it's back to normal. Very displeased with whole order apart from the subwoofer enclosure. Pure junk. All of it..

Good subs
The amp is horrible and the wire kit is not good enough for the power the amp is putting out. I ended up spending 130 on a separate wire kit from scoshe. The amp is good but overheats and shuts itself off until its cooled down a bit so put it in the cabin of your car. The subs are amazing though
