OuterEQ Camping Sleeping Bags Hiking Sleeping Bag (Dark Blue)

So far so good. I have only had this a few nights. I tested this on my patio on a night when the low was 55F. I was warm enough the entire night (i only had on boxers, a shirt, and socks.) I am going camping in glacier national park amongst other places this summer (where the low even in summer is low 50's) and wanted to make sure beforehand that i was not going to freeze. The only problem so far is that the zipper gets caught very easily, which is very annoying to say the least. Regradless, i bought for warmth while camping, and was blown away by how warm it kept me considering it can be compacted so small. Comes with a compression sack which is nice. Worth the $30 i paid.

Bought this to take on a missions trip to TX to help with the Harvey cleanup; sleeping on the floor of a church. The bag was warm enough, but could not turn over or move around at all in it. I'm 5'4" and 117lbs, so not a big person. It was plenty long enough, but disappointed in the width. Thankfully, had brought a sheet, so put that on the air mattress, opened this sleeping bag up and used as a blanket. That did the trick for the week. Not easy to get back into it's little bag.

I love how lightweight this sleeping bag is. It also shrinks down pretty small in its compression sack, which is great for hiking, kayaking, etc. But the bag is a little narrow. I am an average sized woman, about 5’7’’, and I fit lengthwise in the bag just fine, but it’s a squeeze to get my shoulders in it for comfortable sleeping. Works well and enough for warm weather camping though. Otherwise, it’s a great bag.

Sleeping bag is great. Soft, lightweight. BUT, I don't know why they couldn't make the bag bigger, so you don't have to fight with it, trying to get the sleeping bag in it. This was used by my son for a school camping trip; there's no way he could have gotten the sleeping bag in the carrier bag. A larger bag would have made this a 5-star product.

Nice SMALL sleeping bag. I found it to be a little too small for me. I am 5'7" and 200 lbs. The bag fit me best if I just kept my arms out and it pulled up to my arm pits. I could fit my arms inside if I didn't want to be able to move them. It is a nice light weight, but it will have to stay as a warm weather only bag for me.

I think these bags are great for my kids. I bought 3 of them recently for a road trip, when space was at a premium in our car. They really are small but worked great for sleeping. I love that we can wash them as well, My 13 year old has wide shoulders and he did complain that the bag is too tight for him, Length was fine (he's 5' 4", just tight around the shoulder area. The other 2 younger kids (8 and 11) said they had plenty of room. So maybe would stick to purchasing for smaller frame or younger child.

Bag came with 4" gap in the stitching near the top. This did not appear to be due to a rip but rather a lack of fabric at the seam. I am surprised this product was shipped to me with such a glaring defect. I returned it instead of exchanging for a new one.Other than the defect the bag is fine. Material was OK and definitely was compact when stored in the bag. It could have been substantially improved by periodically stitching through the area of the bag like is found in quilts and most blankets and not just at the edges. This would prevent the outer material and the lining from separating which the bag is prone to doing.With the risk of manufacturing defects and lacking in design, I do not recommend the product.

Three stars because of the price. However, the lining easily gets caught in the zipper and its very short. It came to my mid torso (I'm 6'2"), so not great if your tall. I ended up unzipping it and using it as a blanket. Also - retained all your sweat. No fun for an 8 day trek, but not bad for a backyard sleepover.
