Great quality tooling! This set goes to my Mastercool (71475-PRC) Black Universal Hydraulic Flaring Tool Kit. The case has a spot for it, but it's not included in the kit, probably to keep the price down as much as possible, and because many people would have a use to it. I believe in having a complete set in a case and to not have to wait for tooling when a job needs to be done.

I used this on stainless tubing and it works. Be careful to apply just enough pressure or you will over-form it and have the OD of the barb about .010" oversize, which might cause the tube end to be unable to fit in the connector. Practice on some scrap tubing before using it on the tube that counts. Compare the result to a sample of the original to see how much pressure gets the right amount of forming. If you do form one oversize, it can be carefully filed down a few thousandths if you must use it.

works great a must have if you do transmission lines .even works on dodge truck trans lines .would be nice if they included this in the mastercool brake and fuel line set.

This is a must have for every mechanic that works on GM trucks , use this with some NICO line and you never have to worry about damn quick connects coming apart from bein corroded . This adapter makes perfect trans cooler connect flares easily !
