I've had it for 3.5 years and still love it
It works well for my use, which has included running multiple tabs in art programs like firealpaca or paint tool SAI.As well, I can play the Sims 4 with a decent number of mods and it doesn't overheat and die like my old laptop!Picks up internet signals super well and has a cool red lightup keyboard.I'm frankly happy that it doesn't have a webcam, but I'm the type who would rather use a separate camera anyway. It's a fairly large laptop, but the weight isn't unbearable. I do rather find it hard to find a good bag for, so it stays home anyway.I've never found laptops anything but easy to use, so if you understand the basic ins and outs of modern computer use you will be just fine.

Great Value - Awesome Performance for The Price
Obviously, if money is no object and you want to play tomorrow's games on Ultra Video Quality with unlimited FPS, you're not even looking at machines in this price range. But, if you want to play today's games with a great frame rate and a decent look OR, (like me) you want to play yesterday's games like Witcher 3 Wild Hunt or Skyrim Anniversary Edition with the absolute highest video quality settings and have them looking gorgeous and playing smooth as silk? This one is an awesome choice. The laptop itself is sleek and fun looking with a nice, larger than average screen and lit keys. I use external speakers with it and it sounds great. Ample USB ports for other peripherals like mouse/keyboard. I've not left home with it, so I can't speak to battery life, but I'm unlikely to use it without the included wall plug. Like most "branded" machines, it comes with it's fair share of bloatware, but it's all easily removed if you want or need to. Be advised that if you're not used to the Drive Config, the C Drive is tiny and meant for the OS only, but the D Drive is plenty large enough for multiple games. Just remember to (first thing!) configure ALL downloads to default to "D" instead of "C" or you will quickly start getting warning pop-ups about running our of space. I'm absolutely thrilled with it, but again, I'm using it with external speakers, trackball, and keyboard, so if you're wanting a thorough review of the unit itself as a standalone/on the go laptop, take my thoughts with a grain of salt.

Awesome sleek laptop with a wobbly screen.
Very excellent gaming laptop. I wasn't so concerned of having the latest and greatest for next gen games. Mostly playing older rpgs Dragon Age Inquisition, strategy like Crusader Kings 3, and survival like Deep Stranded, this laptop handles them beautifully. Love the whole msi dragon thing which automatically switches a preset gaming mode when playing something. Can't really speak about battery life as I just by default keep it plugged in. I can see the reason why they sell them with a lower storage as documents, pics and videos are saved to the one drive feature. The only negative I have is the screen is a little wobbly.I was just looking for something sleek that doesn't announce itself that its a gaming laptop which can handle most games and video editing and this has not disappointed yet.

Great for gaming and running demanding art programs!
I make digital art but also game so I was looking for a good gaming laptop. I was recommended this brand and I was not disappointed! I love this thing. I can play GTA V with no issues and I can make my drawings 600dpi and more without lagging my computer. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a powerful laptop. Also, the picture on it is really good thanks to the graphics card. It's perfect for what I wanted it for.

MSI, its whats for gaming
Built a desktop with my son with MSI products. Thought I would look at this laptop for my gaming with him. This has exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend getting a fan platform to help keep it cool. It gets really hot when gaming. Beautiful graphics and give you options to upgrade the Ram and memory (wait till after the warranty expires). BTW, register your laptop on MSI website and they will offer to extend the warranty. No problems but I heard that they are great on repairs during the warranty period. Highly recommend this Laptop!

Quality computer, for now... BUT SCREEN IS 144HZ
I have only used this laptop for a few days. However, I thought it was right to leave a review considering that one of the specifications on the Amazon page is incorrect. The refresh rate of this laptop's monitor is 144 Hz (not 120 Hz as advertised). I don't see this as a drawback, but the product page should contain accurate information. The screen on this laptop is fantastic, by the way. This specific model seems to be a downgraded version of a higher-end MSI laptop that has downgraded internals (GPU, CPU). It still has the high-end NVMe SSD.I am recommending it for now.
