Everything you need to start growing from seeds is here. 4 bags of seeds. My 4 bags had 5 seeds of each type of plant. After a month, the flame tree sprouted quickly, the Japanese black pine was a little slower, and the rest didn't sprout but ill use the extra seeds to try again. I might have to make sure I use a nail file to scratch the seed before soaking it for germination like the instructions say.

Came with everything needed to grow bonsai trees and a nice selection of trees as well. Would recommend to a beginner bonsai tree enthusiast.

Awesome gift, but I think certain components were smaller than expected.

This is the second Bonsai Tree kit I've tried. The first was a gift. Of the first four "trees" I planted, two never grew and the other two started to grow (and when I say 'grow', I mean there was a tiny half-inch green fern-looking thing), but died within two weeks. I wrote to the company and they gave me some tips which I followed when I purchased the second tree kit. This time I used only two of the four seedling starters thinking four was too many to take care of. One never grew at all, and the other one grew for three or four weeks and then died.Either the seeds are no good, or the 'growing medium' is crap. The directions leave a lot to be desired. It wasn't worth the $40 I laid out for nothing. I wish I had my money back.

I bought this for my bestie for Christmas and she loves it. She has a green thumb and I’m confident she will be able to grow these and she is creative enough to make them beautiful.

Nice kit, detailed instructions and included everything. But even though I followed the instructions, none of my seeds germinated.
