This material shrinks in the sun and separates. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS! It will ruin your subfloor.
I purchased 9 rolls of this flooring for my pontoon boat. We purchased and installed new Marine plywood for this job. We installed the EVA Foam Faux Teak Flooring onto the clean, dry plywood tightly to each other. It looked great until the next day. Within 24 hours the flooring shrunk leaving gaps between the sheets. The glue started to release all over. You can't pull the flooring up because it's stuck in some spots and letting go in other spots. Amazon said I have to get a refund authorization from the Seller because the order was so large they need permission to refund my purchase price. I'm at a loss of $1200 for the new plywood floor I had installed on my pontoon boat before installing this worthless flooring. How this product got so many great reviews is beyond me... The seller advised me that this product shouldn't be applied in areas that will exceed temperatures of 70-80 degrees and will melt if exposed to temperatures over 100 degrees. I live in Florida and the product started melting the next day. The seller said they would only give me a refund for 3 pieces. After I posted this review, the seller offered to refund 4 pieces if I deleted this review of their product! Seller is just as unimpressive as their product! I will update this post when I finish and post my YouTube video starring this product and the email conversations between the seller and me.

From nasty old carpet to functional and great looking new floor.
Ripped up the old carpet and prepped the deck. I did use Dap rubber/contact adhesive on the deck before putting the EVA floor down, recommended by others whose done this before. It stuck and shows no signs of coming loose. Very easy to cut, with blade or scissors. Another reviewer mentioned theirs ripped easily, but the stock I got was strong and looks like it'll last. Great feel on your feet and non slip. I'm going to use this stuff on the boat platform next.

The backing is not as strong as 3M
The backing is not as strong as 3M backing and does not stick nearly as good. This is not a good product for what it is meant for. I would strongly suggest going elsewhere for a much better product.

Excellent quality and adhesion 😍
We're using this near our entryway to prevent slippage and glad we did. When we got the roll out, we did have to reverse roll it as it will not stay in place. But once it was relatively flat, we cleaned the floor surface really well and have not had any issues with the foam staying in place. The foam and cushion is awesome! The surface is not exposed to the elements but people still step on then with their shoes so we're glad to see that the water does get soaked in and becomes dry after some time.Overall a great product 😄

Teak floor with cushion
This boat decking is not only gorgeous but functional. We didn’t want to use real wood when revamping and this really fits the mark. So easy to use also. Simply measure out and peel the backing off. Place firmly down and you are done.It looks just like real teak wood with a blue line runny to make it look like planks and has a great padding. The cushion is wonderful under your feet.

Nice foam, but what’s with the fibers in the adhesive?
It is a beautiful product. The back paper to protect the adhesive peels nice. Unfortunately, there is some kind of fiber in the glue they used. I put down contact cement before sticking this down, a few days of curing before using the boat. First outing, the panels on the swim platform began to soften the fibers and peeled off. I’ll try to re cement them down.

Does not stick sufficiently
Product looks great! Unfortunately it does not stick to floor in adequate fashion. Applied it to a clean dry surface. After spending all the time making templates and cutting them out they ended up shrinking so they were unevenly matching between each side of boat, bubbled up, and wont stick to deck now. Unless i got a faulty product its A WASTE OF MONEY!

Way over priced!
Way over priced. Does not stick without getting surface perfectly clean.
