Great memory, particularly when paired with an SSD
I got this for my daughter-in-law. Her laptop is old. She was asking me if she should buy a new one for $400+ and I told her no.I upgraded her memory with this kit to reduce Windows paging memory to and from the hard drive.Then I had her get this Samsung SSD: http://amzn.to/1nAZ4laNow her "old" laptop is like new again. She was very impressed with the speed, and so was I!For less than $100 she turned her old laptop into a screaming machine. It now boots in about 10 seconds and once booted it is ready to go. No more waiting for anti-virus to load, Skype to load, etc to load for a minute or so. Everything is now instant!I would suggest this memory to anybody and also the SSD drive. It will make you wonder what took you do long to upgrade!

I'm very happy with the product
I'm very happy with the product.It was installed in my Dell Latitude E6400 laptop. I notice the difference immediately.Now having said that, I must add to the fact that I also installed a new 750GB hard drive.My original hard drive went south.I'm running Win7 Pro.Too date all is working well.PC runs quicker.

A tech RAM did not work
Product did not work at all both were flawed. Replaced with Samsung which worked perfect. I did get a refund. Had to give 1 star to get review to submit, this is too high.

Easy Plug and play in my dell 1545
Easy, plug and play in my dell 1545. They are exactly as advertised with a speed rating of 800 ( DDR2 @ 400) replacing the 2GB in the original Intel Celeron 900. Recently I upgraded the Processor to a Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T9800 (6M Cache, 2.93 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB). Which was also an easy upgrade and the T9800 with its 2 cores, 6 MB cache, 30% faster cores improved performance much more than moving from 2GB to 4GB of memory.

Great upgrade for my laptop!
What can you say about RAM? My laptop had 2gb RAM, 1gb of which had failed. This RAM upped me from 1gb to 4gb! Working perfectly! Also replaced 160gb hard drive with 256gb SSD, and gave it a new, higher capacity battery. It's like having a new laptop for very little money!

Memory Upgrade
Great memory. Upgraded from 2GB to 4GB on a Win 7 Pro laptop. Upgrade worked so well that I was able to upgrade the operating system to Win 10 Pro. I find that A-Tech memory works well with these older machines.

One of the two sticks I received was defective
One of the two sticks I received was defective and the laptop would not boot with it installed. Tried it in both slots, by itself, and paired with the good one. No luck. The other one worked fine. I didn't bother returning it because I needed the one that did work and they are sold as sets.
