The idea is simply clarity. The Mulholland DriveTM is the result of starting at square one and designing an overdrive that is not only transparent in its tonality, but organic and natural. We looked at many preamp sections of some classic amplifiers as well as some highly coveted and revered pedals like the original Centaur overdrive. The end product is something that will not only impress but inspire. This boost style overdrive is a lower-range gain pedal that starts at a clear clean state and follows through to an organic pushed pre-amp fluid overdrive. The Mulholland DriveTM Mk III has all the same features, tone and dynamics as the original Limited Edition 2010 Mulholland DriveTM. The internal layout was moved around to make it easier to change the battery without damaging the pedal, plus we have upgraded the OUTPUT pot for a more focused and smoother control over the output level.
