The Geemarc Amplidect 595 HS is an additional handset designed for the Geemarc 595 and 595 U.L.E phone ranges, tailored for medium to severe hearing loss. It features an 80dB loud ringer, hearing aid compatibility, a 50dB volume boost with 6 amplification levels, a large backlit display with oversized buttons, and an SOS emergency button that dials preset contacts automatically. Requires a main base unit to operate.

Excellent product
We are rather hard of hearing and this phone with it's loud volume is perfect. It is very easy to set up and the quick setup guide easy to follow. Very pleased with it and wish we had it a long time ago.

complicated to retrieve messages
I bought this for my mum and although the quality is good, look nice, etc, the one area that lets it down is the answer machine. Unless I'm missing something it is really complicated to play back messages, having to go through various steps in the menu rather than pressing one button as my poor old mum is used to doing. Doesn't help that her eyesight is bad, but still, it does seem awfully long-winded. Happy to be corrected if someone knows a one-step retrieval. I'm now going to see if I can link in a stand-alone answer machine!

Purchased for easy read and lots of noise !!!
The phone system is great- easy to read- good volume control- good noise/sound when it rings- also flashes light brightly in sync with the ringing.Really pleased with the purchase for my 90 year old father

on incoming calls no names only numbers on maximum volume no louder than present phone no automatic nuisance call control or announced unknown caller facility will stay with present

TOO COMPLICATED FOR US AT 92 AND 88
Whilst the phones and good looking and loud enough they are difficult to answer, amplify, get rid of unwanted apps, fill in numbers and having filled in it is difficult to access them. We are re-charging our old phones and would like to know how to return these phones.

Great for the elderly or those with medical conditions
I bought this as an add on for my elderly father who had very limited mobility and vascular dementia. Unfortunately it was faulty so returned it, however, the original model (same one) he has is fantastic. Large buttons, easy speed dial options and large screen which he is able to see. I would recommend it

A great product.
This was purchased to help my father who suffers from extreme hearing loss, so far he is finding it to be very helpful. We can now actually have a conversation on the phone, we haven't been able to do that for many years.
