Avon Skin-so-Soft Facial Hair Removal Cream(fresh & Smooth)

I have very sensitive skin, and dark, thick, coarse hair, and going through menopause has made the hair on my upper lip more of a "stache" than a "lady-stache." Awful. Before hormones made it grow in thicker and coarser, I had used the Hair Off Facial Buffer. It worked well for me, removed the fuzz easily without causing too much irritation. Over the past year I've found I have to apply more pressure, irritate the heck out of my upper lip without getting all of the hair off, and have to do it almost daily. As a result, I either have a nice little mustache, or a dry, red, flakey upper lip. I tried the Olay Smooth Finish Facial Hair Removal Duo for medium to coarse hair. At first it worked pretty well, but after several months, not so much. It stopped removing all of the hair, especially the really dark coarse little suckers at the corners of my mouth, so I'd have to do some plucking after using it. And it started growing back and being noticeable after only a couple of days. Very frustrating. The Avon Skin-So-Soft Fresh and Smooth Hair Removal Cream popped up when doing an Amazon search for other facial hair removal creams, so I decided to try it based on other reviews. It takes off everything, even below the skin surface, leaving my skin soft and hair-free. I can't even see a little hint of hair after using it. I have had no irritation at all, just a soft, hair-free upper lip. I only have to use it once a week to ten days. I couldn't believe how well it works, even on my sensitive skin. I love this product and highly recommend it!

I had not used a hair removal product in a long time. My middle aged hormonal upper lip was needing some serious attention. I had purchased products for the 'fine' hair and it worked okay on those, but did not do so well on the meanies I was getting at the corner areas of my mouth. The price was right on this so I thought I would give it a try.Of course the directions read to try it out for only a brief time to check for sensitivity and not to leave on longer than eight minutes. Well since my problem was getting longer more coarse hair I started with the full 8 minutes :S I had only a slight stinging when I applied it, no big thing. After 8 minutes I wiped it off and every meanie was gone! So I probably do not even need the full 8 minutes. I am so totally thrilled how well it worked in such a short time. Hardly any redness and irritation at all. As far as the scent, it is not overpowering like others I have used. I did smell whatever the ingredient is in it that they all have, smells like a perm, but it was not strong and it did not last on my lip. I applied a moisturizer on my lip after I used this and I am very happy with my results. Total hair removal in a short time with very minimal discomfort and smell. I will certainly be buying this again when this tube is empty. So happy I found this!

To my Indian ladies (or others with thick-ish hair on face), no.Do not spend your money on this product. I tried this product two times (three if you count the allergy test on the side of your face) and both times ended with disappointment. Don't get me wrong, it works.The tingling/ burning sensation proves that the trace amount of UREA is eating my face. Unfortunately, the product is racist...The first time I used the product, I followed the instructions. I applied the product and left it for about three to five minutes, to be on the safe side. I then removed the product. I saw that, although it did remove some hair, the product left stubble on my face. So naturally, I (quite stupidly) thought that I should reapply the product. It's safe to say that I spent the entire day with my head in an ice bath. The second application did not remove any more hair and I was yet again disappointed. Disclaimer:I did not prep the face by washing it and letting it soften the first time.The second time was slightly better. I tried it three days later because my STUBBLE grew to a noticeable length. I naively thought that maybe my skin got used to the product and will not burn this time. (If it stopped burning then I would have given this three stars). Anyways, I prepped my face and I applied the product to my upper lip area. This time, the application was thicker and I waited for three minutes. I gently removed the product and saw more stubble! WTF! Also the burning sensation came back and I hated the world... again. tip: if you do buy this product and your face does start to burn, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT TOUCH IT FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. Also apply some sort of oil (I used coconut oil).So in short, the product did not remove all hairs and the stubble grew back in three days. I also felt an excruciating burning sensation.CONCLUSION: The product did not do what it advertised and I want a puppy.

It works great on my soft dark hair. I do have some seriously coarse hair on my chin, ya the awful type. I have tried lazer treatment but being blond it has done no good. I was hopeful about this product. The hair showed up after child birth, twice. It multiplied with each birth. This product does NOT get rid of the hair but when I pluck it and then apply it for maximum time, it slows down regrowth. However if I shave it off, it does not help. The lazer technician said to shave not pluck but seriously that makes me feel like a man, YUCK!

Having facial hair was extremely embarrassing for me -- but I didnt want to resort to waxing or shaving a delicate area like the upper lip. I read the reviews about this product and veryyyy hesitantly used it. Amaazinggg! It works like a charm without irritating my extremely sensitive skin. Now let me warn you, you need to do as it says - otherwise you can get some irritation. When you're taking it off, you do not want to rub the area, as for me, this cause some redness and a bit of a burning sensation. I just splash cold water on my face and make one slow, gentle swipe with a cold damp wash cloth to remove it. I usually follow this with a bit of aloe to help soothe it, as this area is still a bit red after this even if it's not irritated- but this subsides within about 30 minutes and then is soooo soft and remains hair free for weeks. I hope they never stop selling this product, as I have no idea what I'd do without it. As long as you follow the directions, it's a god send.

Entfernt Härchen auf der Oberlippe vollständig und schnell. Es dauert eine ganze Weile, bis sie nachwachsen und ich glaube, sie werden weniger 🙃.Hautschäden hatte ich bisher keine, das habe ich bei anderen Mitteln schon anders erlebt. Von mir 5 Sterne, kann ich nur empfehlen

I have fine, fair facial hair and sensitive skin. This worked really well, no stinging, quick and easy to use. I have previously had my upper lip waxed and it was overkill ( caused red marks) and expensive. Will use this in future - easy to do at home at a fraction of the price of a salon treatment.
