Stronger than steel, and 40% lighter than aluminum. How? Each row of the 3K twill is a bundle of 3,000 individual carbon fibers, each of which is only 1/20th the width of a human hair. Layers of the woven fibers are laid one atop another and then infused with resin and cured. What results is one of the strongest, most durable substances known to man. at 3.5in in diameter, these coasters are the perfect size for any cup. Carbon fiber is a great insulator, which will keep the heat or cold from affecting your table. One of the distinctive properties of 3K twill carbon fiber is its iridescent, almost holographic, shine. The cool look creates the perfect conversation starter and accent to your home or office. Matte finish on both sides to provide a beautiful look and scratch resistance
