Q: How many linens is the low power mode?

I really like these little flashlights but I don’t have an answer to your question so I’ll guestimate: The high power mode is 300 lumens according to the info sent with it but they do not specify the low power mode. I went inside a dark room and tried both modes. The high mode is a very bright white 300 lumens. The lower mode seems to me about 1/3 to 1/2 the brightness of the high mode so I believe it to be 100-150 lumens. Still a very useful brightness but maybe too bright if you need it to be super discreet for example trying not to bother someone else sleeping in the same room. I’m not a qualified lumen specialist but that’s my take. Hope it helps. mikepass65

Q: how to change lighting modes?

Turn the flashlight on by depressing the button (of course!). Then rapidly press the button about halfway down to cycle through the modes. It takes a little getting used to. If you're lucky, after you turn the flashlight off, it will come back on in the mode that you left it. I hate AAA batteries, but the size is so great. I carry a lot of stuff on me all the time, and even though I usually have a AA-sized one, I usually pack this one. Good luck!

I have put the batteries in one of them, and have just been carrying it as part of my EDC ("everyday carry"), as the AA ones were a little bit too big around. It has been working fine. Do you keep yours with you and/or indoors? The reason that I ask is that I used to keep mag-lites in the car, and probably from the temperature changes, they would corrode after a bit. So I keep all of my flashlights (a LOT of them) in the house or on me. Good luck.
