Make sure you and your partner both know how to use them properly, and don’t lose the key. The keyholes on these are small, and each is partly blocked by a round post that fits into a hole in the end of the key. The hole lets the key can go all the way into the lock so that you can turn it and unlock the cuff, but the post being right in the middle of the keyhole makes the lock really hard to pick. So don’t lose the key. Buy extras, and keep them around.

These will not rust, are hefty but strong, and are a good size.

Good quality handcuffs. They’re the same weight and size you would see a police officer or corrections officer use. We actually use this brand at the detention center I work for and they’re nice handcuffs. They’re not easy to get out of if applied correctly. The double locking feature actually clicks when locked. The handcuff key it comes with is pretty small. If the cuffs were applied incorrectly and that person were to get ahold of the key, they could definitely unlock the cuffs quickly. I wish the key was bigger to avoid that possibility, but I’ve found that most standard handcuff keys will work with these cuffs.

Great quality and exact set as my assigned duty set. I use these for a second/back-up pair. Will be buying more.
