Thunderbean Presents Cartoon Commercials, Volume 2

BROUGHT TO YOU BY...
There were times, in those classic days of seven or eight different channels on our television set, when the c ommercials could be as entertaining or bizarre as the programs that we were watching. This disk collects more classic commercials, from the Peels Beer ads featuring JBob and Ray to that now forbidden animated commercial on which Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble try and sell us JWinsston cigarettes, and remember some of the first LUCKY CHARMS commercials in which the kids were after that leprechaun? While some of these can be found on You Tube links, you've never seen these films look and sound this good. I enjoyed this set and recommend it to all those who want to take a look back at how we were roped into buying some of these products and why we liked being entertained this way. Who needs that hard sell when you've got quality animation! Pop up some corn and watch...and remember, if you lived through it all! Even if you didn't see these things first hand, this is an interesting history lesson.

Great collection of rare advertising cartoons.
Great collection of commercials, some very rare. Nice transfers. My only disappointment was it did not come with one of the terrific Thunderbean informative insert booklets with information & back stories. Nonetheless, if you're a serious animation collector it's a must.
