I purchased this kit for my use as speech language pathologist, and I am SO impressed. For years now, I've used the very limited set offered from Melissa and Doug. While those are wonderfully made, I always wished we had more variety in the fruits/vegetables in the kit. Once the velcro began to wear out on our wooden foods, I purchased this.It is easy to clean off due to being made of plastic. The details on it are so cool (e.g. the egg with a shell you peel first; the peelable banana; the texture and print inside the orange), and the kids absolutely love it. Some of the pieces are little, so I would supervise kids under 3. GREAT kit. Worth the price.

The media could not be loaded. This is a super cute set of pull/ cut apart fruits and veggies! There is a big variety of foods, and a variety of ways to cut, peel, and open the foods which is super fun even for someone in their adult years haha. So far I did not notice any missing pieces, and everything looks like the perfect size for baby hands!

The plastic foods are sturdy to multiple, and I mean, multiple tosses on the floor and sometimes not-so-pretend eating. They look realistic and the velco attaches well despite multiple times of taking them apart and putting them back together. There’s a variety of fruits and veggies and it’s adorable they come in a shopping basket. The plates are a bit too small as the food falls off when toddler tries to serve people and puts the food back on again; but it’s fine, it builds resilience and perseverance. The knives work well and it’s a plus for practicing fine motor skills and visual motor integration! Overall, the activity is entertaining in a variety of ways.

Purchased this for my 4 year old godson for his birthday, he had been begging for one since seeing it on a kids show, it was worth it! This is one of the most played with toys at our house! Not one thing has broken, and it's been almost a year. This toy was worth the price paid!

My son got a play kitchen from Santa and he including this basket of play foods. These are quality well made toys. The plastic isn’t like some play foods that are almost squishy plastic. These are hard plastic. The size is perfect for the pots and pans that came with the kitchen. The variety of foods is so amazing. Lots of different types of food. It came with a play knife and some of the foods can be “cut” due to Velcro holding the food item together. The eggs including can also be “cracked”! This play is sure to be a fav for any kid. These are so fun!

Cute and creative way to help teach children about fruits and vegetables. Size minimizes choking hazards for small children but use by toddlers should be monitored. Price is good. Recommended.
