These might be the perfect pencil. 0.9 lead is thick enough that it doesn't easily snap if you press too hard. The barrels hold a lot of lead and it has the side button gives you the quick easy-advance. The grip has textured rubber so it doesn't slip when you're sweating through a math exam.The best part of these pencils, though, are hands-down the huge soft eraser. Its soft enough it doesn't tear the paper and erases easily and they are massive, so they are useful a lot longer than those little nubs on the old style mechanical pencil.These pencils got me through grad school, and they are still my go-to.This package comes with two pencils, two bonus erasers, and a pack of spare leads.

Lead quality is great, writing is so easy and smooth. The value to money is equal. The pencil does tend to smear, and the pencils are round and thin.

I love these pencils! Lead quality is excellent. I love the 0.9 mm lead. It doesn’t break easily. And the lead is nice and dark. They are perfect.

Works amazing. No problems except please add more led also because that tiny bit ait enough. And also why dose the eraser keep falling down or going up into the pencil even after I twist more out when using it , it always makes it hard to erase . I had to buy erasers because I mess up or change my mind to much. For that no 5 start only 4 .

The Papermate mechanical pencils are always super comfortable and fit in my hand which have allowed me to write with better and neater hand writing.The only slight problem I have with the pencil is the durability of the eraser. When going to erase something, the eraser always rotates back inside which is frustrating so you have to hold the eraser end to efficiently erase something. Overall value is a 8/10.
