Older model Asus computer - charging cord frayed and would no longer work, bought a replacement from the Big Box electronic store, the box said it would work, the employee said it would work, it did not. Found this cord on line for less money, decided to try due to nice price. It works great! Should have looked here first.

I read alot of comments from different companies that stated that this adapter will match my laptop. Alot of disappointed consumers who stated that the adapter/chargers did not work, even thought the description said it would. So I was very skeptical with this adapter but as long as it was 45 watts and the input port was the right size, it should work. Well...perfect match! I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

Works as advertised. Only thing is the prongs don't fit snug into the socket so it can fall out. Easy fix just bend the prongs outwards slightly.

Got an inexpensive laptop from a friend for my kids to use for school but didn't have the AC adapter. This works perfectly and helped save on getting the kids what they needed. Thanks!

This was a replacement power adapter for one that was lost. It works perfectly.

Be forewarned! Did not work with my computer although my computer was listed. I believed the listing and didn't double-check my computer's power requirements. This was the wrong wattage and amperage. Worked for about 10-15 minutes and then the notifications started popping up in rapid succession - "On Battery" and "Charging" switching back and forth every two or three seconds. It may be a decent product for the right application, (emphasis on MAY BE) but if the manufacturer wants to cut down on returns and bad reviews, they should verify what computers this works with.

After 9 months of daily use, the barrel connector has become intermittent. The laptop will randomly switch between on battery and charging with tiny movements. The cord is slightly shorter than the ASUS original which meant the charger would no longer reach from the outlet to my laptop when sitting on the couch.
