As a directional driller for over 15+ years now I have wanted a tape measure that is 40’ long. We measure BHA components and nothing normally is longer than 40’ so this one is fantastic for what I need it for.

This tape measure does it all, big hooks to grab and catch, doesn't make you squint easy to read especially when you are as old as me. The stand out goes for ever without crumpling, long reach is awesome. Best tape for out in the field and in the shop. I'm so glad I bought this tape measure I even use it on home projects.

I disliked that it was made from cheap material and broke when retracting it..it was a waste of money for something I used for 3 days max

It’s heavy but is 40’ long. The tape itself is strong, was able to run out over 10’ with out breaking over. When compared to a major name brand conventional 25’ tape it only went out 8’ before breaking over. Overall good quality product.

At first this was a great tape measure and I use it as a DD. I’ve hade it less than 4 months and compared to other brands it tape measures this thing just doesn’t hold up. The paint on the back side of the tape has been flaking off in chunks and the makes it non usable since it now rusts and will not spool back up properly. I store it in an ammo can that’s air tight to keep moisture off of it but it’s still rusting.

Massive tape measure with rugged shell, diversity of scale (imperial / metric) on front / back of tape, and quick recoil. Will need your suspenders once this is strapped to your belt. No more taking measurements in increments... this tape is big enough to measure the length needed in a single stretch.
