Got these for my three and five year old grandchildren who love them. Their mother plays badminton after school with the older children at the kindergartener's school and the little ones just could not handle the larger rackets. I am teaching them to start by counting the number of times they can bounce the ball on their own racket. We had children's rackets, but they were completely rigid plastic instead of the soft, rubbery striking zone these have and did not work at all. These are a much better length and weight for little guys. Glad I found them and trusted Amazon to come through again - even at such an unbelievably low price!

These are well made and will hold up being used by my 5 year old grandson.

we have 2 year old twins. a local tennis pro told us to get started on hand eye coordination with balloons by having them hit them up in the air. he said to use hands but small tennis rackets would also work. these are ideal for this. we drop the balloons and they hit up with the racket and we count the number of times they can hit a balloon before it falls to the ground. the only minus is the netting is not sturdy. for ballots it is ok - but anything firmer would tear it out of the plastic. the plastic itself though is very sturdy in my opinion - have not had any breaking issues.

These were pretty nice, but have fallen apart.The rims are nice and sturdy, but the clothe netting rips out easily as it is attached by its loops to pegs inside the rims. bummer.

The design and materials are crummy and even cheaper than expected for the price paid. The mesh separated from the frame after a couple days of normal use (hitting a ball). Even fresh out of the bag, they are not effective as rackets because the mesh is flimsy and provides no spring against a ball. It's like hitting a ball with a t-shirt. There are better cheap rackets out there.

Our daughter has a neighborhood park which includes tennis courts. Her toddler (age 4) is too young for true tennis, but this "shuddlecock" set is perfect. The birdies do not hurt like a tennis ball does if accidentally hit on the body. However, the set came with a small, soft tennis ball for progression to toddler tennis when the skill develops. Also, if the interest wanes, the cost was not too much to move on to another game. Thanks for a great product!

My 3 year old is obsessed with all things sports, but his "favorite" changes from day to day. One day he's all about baseball, the next day he's onto football. So when he announced that for his birthday he wanted a "tennis rocket", I figured this would be a better option than buying him a real kiddie racket. He absolutely loves it, and for 2 rackets and a ball, the price can't be beat:) Obviously, the netting part isn't as sturdy as a real racket, but the plastic frame seems to be really sturdy. He's pretty active with these and they're holding up just fine. We take them to the tennis courts at the park and he feels like a pro:)
