Happy
Needing to replace a dying Kitchen Aid, I thought I'd 'upgrade' and bought a 9 speed Braun. I returned it because I found it hard to control, and because it flung dough all over the counter and floor.I decided go to with a KitchenAid again, which after all had lasted me over 20 years. I'm very satisfied. The grip is comfortable on my arthritic hand, and the mixer has plenty power without being hard to control. As my old one did, I was able to integrate all the ingredients without having to stop and scrape the bowl a lot as I had to with the Braun. This mixer is about 1/2 oz. lighter than my old one at around 35 ounces. I like that the beaters don't have plastic or something that could eventually chip off (as a lot of newer mixers seem to have). My old beaters fit in the new machine, so that's kind of nice. I have arthritis in my hands, and it was easy to turn the mixer on and off, and adjust the speed. You can lock the cord right or left to keep it out of your way, and it's a good sturdy cord.It makes a little noise, but it's not raucous, and there is some vibration, but not so much you have to struggle to control the mixer.I ordered a white one, with delivery promised in about a month since it's not a popular color. I got it in less than 10 days. Good product, good fulfillment.I'm very satisfied with this mixer and the transaction.

Quality Product. Design is Perfect.
This is a wonderful portable mixer. It is light to hold, powerful, absolutely quiet and nice shade of red. The lighted choices for beating speeds makes it's use so easy and it is easy on a person with elderly hands.

Had forgotten how nice these are to have
Had not used one of these since helping mom with a bake in the kitchen as a child. This one seems much nicer and woks well. Beats the heck out of blending by hand. I recommend it.

Quiet and pretty
This hand mixer replaced a previous 20-year old hand mixer that saw a lot of hard use and abuse in its life. Hope this one lasts as long. (The old one died because the collet that holds the beaters wore out and the beaters were too loose to keep spinning with any load. Motor still good.)Pros: - Very quiet.- Looks nice. Mixed a medium thick cookie dough and it did not bog down.- Wire beaters cleaned up easily. (More about beaters below.)- The cord is a reasonable length.- The box it came in is sturdy enough that I should be able to use it for storage for a year or two, so all the pieces will be easier to keep together.Cons: - The light on top to show speed is too bright. I can not comfortably look down directly over the mixer. I must look off to side because of the light.- The push button that is used to step up the speeds (and you must step up the speeds from the bottom each time after turning off) is small and placed such that I can only use my fingernail to depress it. That works fine and is easy enough now, but I wonder how long it will hold up to nail pressure. It does not look very tough.- The beater design does not mix thoroughly without help. I made peanut butter cookies. I had a blob of peanut butter that was about the size of an egg yolk that was apparently a little stiffer than the rest. Even with multiple passes, I could not get the mixer to mix it into my creamed butter/sugar mix. I used a spatula to press it thin and then the beaters could do their job. The peanut butter blob pressed out easily enough when I did it. It did not feel to me like it was exceptionally viscous.- The wire-style beaters mean you need a separate whisk attachment (included) to do egg whites and whipping cream. I have not tried the whisk yet, but assume it works. For me, this means that I have a rarely used bit of machinery that I have to keep up with and find when I next make meringue.Overall, I am happy enough with mixer right now. Only time will tell whether it can do its job for many years like its predecessor.

Terrific mixer and at a terrific price.
Purchase this hand mixture to replace one that was worn out period this new kitchen aid hand mixer is truly a work of art. It's lightweight, but yet it feels comfortable in your hand and does everything that it's supposed to do plus a whole lot more. The quality is the kitchen aid. Expected. And I know this thing is going to last me. The rest of my life definitely would recommend this to anyone. Great value. Great money and style, not to mention. Ease of operation.

Slow start is a game changer
I needed to replace my 20 year old Kitchenaid 3 speed hand mixer and I liked the features on this 7 speed. This mixer has exceeded my expectations in every way. I love the auto slow start…and the ease of changing speeds as you mix. It makes for a smooth creaming process. I have a home bakery and use an 8 qt Kitchenaid professional mixer every day. The hand mixer is for smaller tasks but still use it 4 days a week. Easy to clean and remove beaters, quieter than my old model. I actually bought it at a reduced price that was the same as the 3 speed model….win win
