Palo Santo is everything that I expected. Very pleasant oder, and you can smudge with it to... I cleaned all of my crystal and it's perfect.

I've not been to Ecuador or Peru so I'm not a Palo Santo expert. I have tried 5 different brands of PS sticks and I know those from Peru smell different than those from Ecuador. I prefer Ecuadorian PS. I purchased Luna Brand large bag and it's hit or miss on burn, usually doesn't stay active long enough for a good smudge & probably wood sticks in mix. I purchased Kiru at same time to test. Sometimes heavy just after lighting; most times smell is heavy after the light. Whose to say if it's real or not unless you obtain it directly yourself. I like this brand however I found Chaman from Ecuador is my favorite. I accidentally got mixed and this is why I am bad at feedback. You can't delete from Amazon.

Good quality

I usually burn black or white sage in my home before writing, but this was my first time burning palo santo. My guess is that THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. As soon as it started burning, it reminded me of a milder, sweeter, woodier version of frankincense. A fast google search told me that palo santo is from the same family. These smudging sticks are sourced from Ecuador. I immediately felt their calming affects, too. Also, they are easier to light if you use a candle or gas stove versus a standard lighter.

Okay so I have used Palo santo before. & this one was more fragrant than the other one I had. This one could have been more fresh or something because the smell was so strong.Burnt one all over the house and only used half of it. Very satisfied. Only thing was I had to light it up twice because it wasn't smoking as much.

It didn't smell like a campfire. It smelled too sweet, like a flower.
