Haven't had to use it yet so I don't know the noise level - I am 62 so it is hard for me to move because it is heavy.

Just a couple of pointers for those who purchased small generators take out the garbage spark plug and replace it with an iridium one gap to .022 haven't had to do anything with the spark plug in months first 5 hour break in use mobile 1 10w40 high mileage oil it has special properties and additive to help the process next oil change 20 hours after every 50 hours oil changes are the lifeline for this type of motor so far I have 1100 hours run time on it going to squeeze 5000 out of it another thing rockers must be adjusted every 100 hours buy a set of bent style box end wrenches to adjust them yourself you have to take spark plug out to make it so much easier process on top of the rocket first bolt 13 mm and on top of that 10 mm use 13 mm wrench to hold bolt and break 10 mm loose pull starter rope until the rocker is loose tighten 13 mm bolts in small increments until its just a little loose without compressing the valve spring do other valve the same way keep pulling starter rope and check rocket again make sure that they are a little loose because when engine heats all the valve train parts expand then there is the 500 hour decarbonization had to get head gasket from generator guru Google it look at the owner manual for the head gasket the one in the diagram is a perfect match find that style of gasket make sure its the exact same shape holes oil holes are all the same look up the head bolt torque on the internet use bolt dimensions to find the right torque for that particular bolt do not take valves out to decarbonize the head I bought a sand blaster for that job of cleaning the combustion chamber do not sand blast the intake or exhaust ports do not scrape off carbon from piston face either my generator will power a small microwave at 1800 watts draw also will run my 8000 btu ac fully blast a use one gallon of gas for six hours so far so good anyway just a heads up what you are getting yourself into buying an open frame small portable generator

Received this generator put oil and gas in it and it started with 2 pulls. Powers everything I need. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for an emergency generator.

Good generator for the price

I used it at my flee market to power lamps. Even when I used a long cord, it was still too loud. It's also heavy. It had a crank problem with the recoil as the crank handle would not catch to crank it. I had to hit it to get it to catch. After a run time of less than 5 minutes, I sold it.

Works great! Hasn't failed me, runs the most important stuff: the fridge, modem, chargers, and portable A/C or Heater.It's a generator... it's noisy. It's heavy - I don't find this a negative. Relatively easy to move around.
